Summary
January 1997. The morning sun of the first day of the year brings no regret, only the need to stay lost in the arms of the only man she was never supposed to have. Waking up in the hotel room after their very first night spent together, the unnamed woman realizes to her absolute delight that the feelings she holds for Kishibe—her father’s closest friend—are mutual.
