   Summary

   “Uh, sorry. Um… What were you saying about… dinner?” Shane answers. His eyes slide away from Ilya, a slow, unconscious drift.

   ‘Fuck! What happened?’ Ilya thinks with a sinking feeling. ‘He was fine just minutes ago: we were laughing and joking on the car ride back. What happened between then and now?!’
