Chapter Text
Satisfying my own selfish demands, I submit the following:
Hayden & Jackie and Shane & Ilya are going to see Moulin Rouge (the musical) in Boston. Shane and Jackie know Ilya and Hayden will become besties eventually, but they’re getting tired of waiting on their husbands. So Shane and Jackie fake being sick; this leaves the boys alone at the theater. Tickets were expensive. Anyway, Ilya is openly weeping when the Magical Sitar exclaims “The greatest thiiiiiiiiing you’ll ever leeeearn is just to looooove and be looooved in reetuuuuurn!”
Hayden, trying valiantly but failing thoroughly to keep his own tears unshed, glances furtively at the blatantly sobbing Russian hunk next to him. With a sudden and complete understanding, all-encompassing acceptance, Hayden puts his hand on Ilya’s forearm and whispers “You really do love Shane!”
“Yes,” croaks Ilya through his wet, sloppy sobs, “and I don’t want him to get tuberculosis.”
The End 💃💃💃💃(of their Moulin Rouge experience. Next installment: Les Miserables.)
