Summary
When Till awoke, it wasn’t to the comfort of his room. Instead of old, but familiar posters barely holding on to the walls, he was met with plastered white walls. Instead of creaky floorboards were freshly cleaned white tiles. Lastly, instead of the faint smell of weed coming from his neighbors on the floor below was the smell of disinfectant and cleaning supplies.
Till knew this wasn’t his room, that this wasn’t his mother’s apartment from the moment he cracked open an eye.
He was in the hospital.
