Shane's breath caught in his throat for just a beat before he moved his jacket to flash the handgun at his waist.
“A bit dramatic, are we?” Ilya laughed.
“I don't tolerate disrespect.”
Ilya used the advantage of his extra few inches in height to plant his arm to the left of Shane's head and crowd him against the wall.
“It would not be disrespectful,” Ilya whispered in the other man’s ear. “Unless you want it to be. Of course.”

Shane Hollander has been raised to take his place at the top of the Hollander family, the current heads of the Irish Mob in New York City, since his father's death.
