Summary
The Long Night is at the gates, yet the realm is too busy bleeding to notice.
With the South erupting into yet another civil war and Stannis Baratheon lying dead outside the gates of Winterfell, the Seven Kingdoms are fracturing. Men freeze and starve, completely blind to the dead marching on the Wall.
In the aftermath of the mutiny at Castle Black, Jon Snow claws his way back from the dark with his sanity frayed and an unnatural heat in his veins. Dragging a doomed wildling host into the worst blizzard in living memory, Jon must scour the Boltons and Freys from the North (and manage his own lingering ghosts) before he can turn his gaze towards the true war.
TLDR: My attempt at a post-ADWD continuation fic with 1 divergence from canon (Stannis's fate). Arc 1 focuses heavily on clearing the Northern political board before the Long Night begins in earnest. After that, the story will expand to include the other plotlines and characters.
