Summary:
Jesse is a coward. He’s easily startled, averse to horror, and is just waiting for Halloween to be over with. So when his best friend challenges him to go through the haunted house at a mysterious block party, he only begrudgingly accepts. But he quickly comes to regret this decision when they learn the neighborhood the party is being held in is inhabited by real monsters ripped straight from classic horror stories, from hungry vampires to enigmatic skeletons.
Even if they manage to somehow make it out alive, he doubts their lives will ever be the same again.

I originally published this story a year ago on another website, but now I've decided to put it up on here just for funsies. I will post a chapter a day until we eventually catch up, and I will also include any original notes I published with each chapter, save for ones about schedule changes.
This series is intended to be read like a middle grade series, with the plot growing more serious and mature as the characters grew up. For each part, tags will be modified to reflect the changing aspects of the series.
