Summary
If you were to ask any patient coming in what their least favourite procedure to have done would be, they would likely say a root canal. Ilya did not understand this; once frozen and the rubber dam was placed, the only one feeling torturous pain was him waiting to be done. For patients, root canals were a two hour nap. For Ilya, they were boring.
And yet here he was on this fine morning, ready to greet the man that was personally ruining his life. The man that was supposed to give him all of his specialist instruments at this fuckass time to be sterilized before their long day of Root Canal after Root Canal. The man who had blown the clinic’s entire monthly budget on some incredibly expensive microscope and entire range of burs and files. The man who wasn’t even here yet.
Ilya might kill. Maybe. It was looking rough.
