   Summary

   Julia Pierce had spent her entire life living in her father's shadow, and living in his lie.

   Alexander Pierce loves his daughter, but after discovering an anomaly in the blood to enhance the Winter Soldier program, he sees it as the perfect opportunity to move up in HYDRA's ranks, even if it means sacrificing his daughter to the cause.

   Forced into a new, sinister world, Julia must survive in HYDRA, and over everything else comply. She trains with the Winter Soldier, a more machine than man but she could've sworn there was something tumultuous behind those stoic eyes. All while discovering she isn't who she thinks she is, and neither is her alleged father who she believes him to be.

   In a world that's moved on without her, how could she possibly learn how to live again, when all she was before was replaced with foggy memories, and a gun in her hand.
