It was Fenris’ insistence that swayed Anders into leaving Kirkwall before Justice’s plans could come to true fruition, but it was pure chance that caused them to end up in Ferelden. It was even more of a chance encounter that led them to discover a rogue Templar operation in the forest south of Highever: the Templars somehow hunted down every apostate that happened to cross the area, and caused a lot of trouble to the local Dalish clan. Justice’s thirst for blood and the clan First’s pragmatic need to rid the woods of Templars were more than enough for Anders and Fenris to find themselves amidst blood and clashing blades once more.
