I swear, every time I stumble upon a story like this I marvel at how and why they dwarf rom-com and miscommunication stories so thoroughly. I've said this before and will state it again: I can only be ever so thankful and grateful that stories like these exist for readers like myself, who think rom-coms are boring AF and miscommunications/misunderstandings/adults not talking openly to each other is the bane of our existence lmao. And I am further thankful/grateful that the author finished the story despite not receiving much engagement compared to the above-mentioned stories.
