Summary
Angel and Spike stood in an alley, a group of humans decked out with vampire-killing gear ahead of them. Angel tried to speak to them, tell them that the two vampires were no threat to them, that they meant no harm – well maybe Spike did but Angel had a feeling he was going to practise some restraint if he wanted to get out of this in one piece – but they wouldn’t listen. Sighing, Angel prepared himself to fight his way out and Spike followed suit, but not before rolling his eyes and telling Angel “I told you they didn’t care what we had to say”.
A fight commenced – Angel didn’t remember the details – just that he thought he was doing well until Spike was taken down, distracting him, and leading to him being knocked out by someone that had managed to get behind him without his noticing.
