Work Text:
The ocean is quiet at night, and so is Viktor. The waves lap at the scales of his tail, a motion of push and pull. With the sea breeze blowing through his hair, there is a wildness in his eyes. Beautiful, untamable, and free.
Viktor is and will always be a creature of the sea. And when the sea calls, Viktor will go.
“Let me give you space alone,” Jayce says and turns away. A tug on his wrist stops him.
“Stay with me?”
You cannot keep the sea, but you can choose to stay by its side.
Jayce stays.
