Work Text:
“Darling?”
Arthur doesn’t respond. He scrunches his brows as he traces grooves in the spires of his sandcastle with a finger. His castle boasts multiple towers, and even has a border of battlements along every wall.
Battlements, Eames thinks! Things you only see in photographs of historical castles, not sandcastles.
“Darling, light of my life, my love.”
Arthur spares him a response then. “Hm?”
Eames laughs. “You’re making sandcastles way too seriously.”
Arthur scowls and jabs his finger in Eames’ chest. “Well some people have pride in their work and architecture unlike others-”
Eames shuts him up with a kiss.
