Loud moans and the faint sound of the headboard hitting the wall woke him almost every night. He didn’t understand it. How could someone change like that, just like night and day? He found himself questioning it, but as the repetitive squeals from his neighbor’s bedroom penetrated his own, he cursed the thin walls and sat up to retrieve his music player from his bedside drawer.
