Iris was only supposed to be gone for a few minutes.
A simple mission. A quick trade. One step into the Void, one step into another world, and then back to Eos before dinner.
Instead, she arrives beneath a sky that feels wrong, in a world where the grass stretches too far, the sun burns too warm, and something impossible smiles at her from across the field.
When Levi Squad saves her from a Titan, Iris is left stranded in a world she does not understand, with no way home and powers that no longer work as they should. To the Survey Corps, she is a mystery, a risk, and perhaps a weapon. To Iris, they are strangers in a dying world, fighting monsters with blades, horses, and a kind of determination she does not yet know how to name.
She wants to leave.
But the longer she remains among the Scouts, the harder it becomes to remember that leaving was supposed to be the only goal.
