Summary
Christina Valdez is going through the motions. She’s in such a slump, she barely exists outside of her job at Carcetti’s Café. When she moves to night shifts, she meets someone destined to change all of that: a jackass shift lead named Felix. He’s loud, smug, abrasive, and seems to immediately know how to push her buttons. But there’s also a flash of something softer to him, as much as she hates to admit it. Will their unlikely friendship blossom into something more interesting? Or do ghosts of the past have other plans?
