They walked to the main cabin. Happy to maybe go get some breakfast before the rounds. As they walked a sudden sharp pain erupted. Low in their torso, and also in their back. Stilling they could only hug their gut, before realizing it.
Groaning, they walked back to their cabin. Deciding to grab a new pair of underwear. Then walking past their bed to go to the cabin bathroom. Opening the cabin, they reached in for a pad.
Noob sat down on the toilet. Glancing down, just to see their favorite pair of underwear was stained. They wanted to cry. With sadness inside them, they replaced it with a different pair. Placing a pad inside the new ones, trying to wipe away the sadness of their favorite pair now being stained.
They stood up, walking away from the bathroom. Already done with the day, even though they had woken up about 10 minutes ago. A sigh escaped them as they headed to the main cabin once again, excitement they once had now drained from their body. They only walked slowly, trying to ignore the pain from cramps.
Swinging the door open, they stepped in. Spotting Elliot at the counter, while some other people were at the table. They decided to sit there, not keen on talking but it would be nice to just listen and forget their bleeding. Pulling a chair out, they sat at the table.
Waving at the three already there, Jane, Vee, and Two Time. Noob tried to listen in, but they were kind of gone. Used to pain from cramps, they usually tried to ignore it and go away from their body for a second. But that sharp pain always brought them back.
Grounding them, but all they wanted was to get away from it. Sharp yet dull, it ringed out inside their body. Near their lower torso, and their back. All they wanted right now was to scoop their own uterus. They've heard of the organ falling out, and sometimes they begged for that to happen to their body.
Noob gave up on trying to listen, wordlessly getting up. Ignoring any questions thrown their way. As they walked they winced, feeling how it got worse in that moment. Bringing a hand to their stomach, they barred their teeth. Trying to bite down the pain.
"Noob you alright?" Jane rushed over, putting her hand on their shoulder. "Y-yeah...i'm fine just-ugh cramps..." They tried to smile, but winced again at another cramp. Realization dawned on Jane's face, before she spoke again. "Oh, uh I think I have a spare hot water bottle in the cabin. Just, why dont you go back to the cabin and I'll get you what you need."
If Noob could see other-wordly creatures, they would have believed the woman was an angel sent down from heaven. "T-thank you." Noob could cry right there and then, but they only turned and walked to the cabin following behind Jane. She went to her tiny corner of the cabin, rummaging through whatever was over there. Before pulling out the holy grail.
Sparkles were strewn throughout Noob's eyes as they looked at the thing. Jane only point to their bed, telling them to lay with her motion. They obliged, settling into their bed. Wincing a tiny bit at every new cramp that striked through them. But they could only endure.
"I'm gonna go boil some water, do you want anything." Thinking, Noob knew what they wanted now. "Please get me fruit, and a-a bloxy cola if any is left!" Nodding she left, closing the door softly. Leaving Noob to be alone in their bed.
Sighing, they smiled a bit at the caring actions of Jane. But they really felt like they shouldn't need it, after all it's just a few cramps. They have had periods before, so why were they always so horrible in this realm? Guess they'd never know, it was just horrible though.
Going through what felt like being stabbed for a week every month, it was plain misery. Suffering through a cycle, one their own punished them for. Simply because they did not bare a child. It was horrible, sometimes they wished they were just infertile. So they didn't have this suffer through this fate.
The door swinging open cut through their thoughts. Making them swivel their head to Jane, who was holding a bowl with fruit and a can sticking out, alongside a hot water bottle in her other hand. Going over to the person, she put the bowl down. Noob picked it up, to make sure it wouldn't fall over.
"So do you want this on your back or stomach?" Noob thought for a second, before deciding. "S-stomach please." She lifted the blanket s bit, placing it over their shirt. Before letting the blanket fall again. Noob smiled at the warmth, content from the items.
They placed the bowl down, letting it sit next to them. Before grabbing one of the apples that lay inside it. Biting the crisp thing, while Jane stood beside them. "Uh-uhm Jane you-you don't have to stand there." She realized what she was doing, before going over to their desk. Grabbing the wheeled chair.
"Sorry, didn't mean to stand over you." Noob only watched as she sat across the bed. Watching over them. "O-oh no, uh I meant you don-don't have to be here." She only looked at them confused. "I-I'll be fine if you-uh leave you know. Wouldn't want to-to have you fus-ssing over me." She only tilted her head.
"Do you want me to leave? I can go if you want you know." Offering it, Noob rushed to assure her. "No-no not what I meant sorr-ry! I just uh, uh meant you don't have to worry 'bout me you know? It's just cramps...I should be fine!"
"Noob you are clearly not fine, you winced every time! I don't mind doing this. Don't worry if I didn't want to be here, i'd be leaving already. It's fine Noob, you're not being a problem." Noob only looked at her, before taking another bite of their apple. Moved by her words, they only looked at her. Before, swallowing preparing to speak to the woman.
"T-thank you Jane." She only smiled, soft and bright. Noob focused on the apple, trying to ignore how more cramps stabbed through their body. Finishing it, they placed the apple core back in the bowl. Before turning back to Jane, tiny tears formed in their eyes.
Noob reached over, stretching their arms and hugging the woman. Jane only wrapped her arms around them, before hearing them speak. "I-I just, my periods were nev-never this bad. Ever since I-I got he-ere they've been so much worse! It feel-ls like 2x-x-2 cursed me and now I have to suffer."
"It's the stress." She answered, letting Noob squeeze her. "H-huh?" They asked, wondering what she meant. "It's the stress from running for your life, stress make's your period worse." Silence was held between them before Noob sighed. "I-I should've guessed that, my 2x-x-2 that makes sense..."
Noob pulled away, wiping away the few tears that had slid down their face. "Again, thank you Jane." She only smiled, before speaking. "It's no problem! You can get me any time you want." They only smiled before handing her a fruit. She took it and peeled it, content with the choice.
They both sat there, talking at times. Or sitting together in silence, waiting for a round to happen together. It wasn't really a climatic thing, but Noob could feel how much closer they were. While Jane simply ate her fruit, watching out for the younger adult.
