Yes, Elliot was the youngest, but he was still an adult. More than capable of looking after himself, and the others if need be. So it was really annoying when he was treated like a fragile piece of glass. Ready to shatter into a million pieces if he was so much as poked a little too hard.
Then a new survivor shows up. Small and scared and stealing Elliot’s role as the youngest in the group.
Suddenly, he understood why everyone else acted so protective all the time.
(Aka: The Forsaken survivors being a family, and Elliot being a big brother to Noob.)

They weren't that far from normal, back before everything. It was really only their fashion choices and their friendship with Sixer that used to make them stand out.
Sure, they might've been a thrillseeker back then, but it was never to this extent. It had never gotten this bad, to the point where they were often finding themself in near-death situations. Even Sixer had expressed his concern, the first time they'd decided to play "Tower of Hell", too. (They're probably one of the best in the 'game' at this point, now.)"
