    Peter Parker doesn’t believe in second chances.

    After a radioactive spider bite leaves him stronger, faster and strangely connected to shadows, Peter decides to do what the city never would: remove the problem at its root.

    The streets of Queens grow safer. The body count grows higher.

    And years later, New York whispers about a vigilante cloaked in red and black who leaves corpses in his wake. When the avengers finally catches wind of him and begin investigating, Peter just can't wrap his head around why they're trying to stop him.

    After all, he's saving the city.
