Ashley had seen Emily flirt with a man or two in their short but strong friendship but something about the way she looked at Victoria Grayson, of all people, made her second guess any assumptions she has about her friend's sexuality. Well, more like third guess because the first time they talked Ashley did think that maybe she was being flirted with – and Emily was pretty enough that Ashley almost considered it.
But she didn't, of course she didn’t. Ashley cannot add being attracted to women to her list of things that will make making a name for herself here even more difficult. But then of course, Emily wasn't flirting with her, she was just looking for a friend. And a friend she received.
