    Denethor II, Steward of Gondor, beset by hopelessness and despair, died by his own hand during the War of the Ring. Years before, his beloved wife Finduilas of Dol Amroth had faded away, her spirit worn thin by the darkness of Mordor descending upon Minas Tirith.

    Ere their ruin, their love burned bright, and their lives were filled with hope and joy. A tale of two souls first bound by duty, who found in one another something far greater than either had expected.

    There will be no major character death in this story. It will be a ‘happy for now’ story and will end before either of them die (as in canon).
