It’s been raining all weekend, not just raining pouring just about all day every day. It was making racing next to impossible. It was Saturday now, and all they’ve been done for racing is about 15 minutes of FP1. They were waiting to see if they could go ahead with qualifying, but it wasn’t looking good. The Grand Prix was probably going to be cancelled but they’d just have to wait and see.
Kimi was sitting in the Mercedes hospitality watching the rain pelting down. He just wanted to know the verdict to see if he could go back to the hotel or not. He decided he was done waiting, leaving his driver’s room and heading over to Haas. They didn’t pay much attention to him as he made his way through the garage and up to Ollie’s driver’s room. He knocked on the door and it didn’t take long for Ollie to open up.
“Kimi, what are you doing here?”
“Is bored and tired of waiting by myself.”
“Aright, what do you think we’re going to do?”
“Come with me.” Kimi said grabbing Ollie’s wrist. He pulled him through the hospitality and to the door.
“Why are we headed outside?”
“Come on, let’s go outside in the rain.”
“Kimi are you crazy? It’s pouring.”
“Live a little Ollie.” Kimi ran out, still holding onto Ollie’s wrist so he got pulled outside too.
Kimi started laughing, holding into Ollie’s hand. Ollie couldn’t help it and started laughing as well. The two spun around, not caring that they ended up soaked in just a matter of minutes.
“You’re quite something Andrea.” Ollie said, smiling as rain drops ran down his face.
“So are you Oliver.” Kimi smiled at him as the two continued spinning around and running through puddles. Neither cared anymore if the day was going to continue or not, they were having too much fun.
