============================================
There it was again.
Another fading roar in endless sand sea. Another life lost to time.
But not for survival, not for food, not even for territory...
For the pure thrill of the kill.
That the look of despair on the abandoned herds, mates and children.
And those thoughts raced through her head as she stalked through this never ending sea of tiny rocks.
A snort exited her nostrils, her three toed feet sinking into the burning sand as she limped over a dune.
The sun cast it's harsh light down on the ground, the burning heat causing the air to sway in unnatural ways as from beyond a dune, came a warrior riddled in scars.
The T-Rex limped forward, barely holding herself together as she trudged over to a cave, before dropping at it's face.
The rocky establishment was far to small for her, but not for others.
Rapid footsteps emerged from the cave and from it's depths emerged a young Velociraptor, not an adult but far from juvenile.
The Raptor stalked around the heavily injured Rex, They let out a few chirps at her which the giant reptile responded with a few soft growls.
Turning their back to the injured Rex, they let out a few echoing shrieks into the endless desert with the occasional tree.
After a long second of silence, rapid footsteps were heard. Big foot steps.
Over the dune and horizon, a huge silhouette came rushing, it's rapid and huge footsteps kicking up the sand as it ran.
As it came closer, the Raptor let out another shriek and the giant came to a screening halt.
It's sliding stop kicked some sand onto the Raptor and Rex, she let out a roar when the sand touched her wounds.
As the dust settled, a head poked through the dust, looking around in random moments.
The Rex lets out a growl, she didn't let this old geezer roam in her territory just so he could be an annoyance that couldn't even see the mosquitoes flying around his head.
The Velociraptor let out a shriek towards the giant, it turned it's head before walking towards a nearby tree as the Raptor followed.
The Therizinosaurus dug it's long claws into the sand as he stood in front of the tree and let out a squeal.
The Velociraptor got in front of the elderly giant, backed up, before rushing forward and jumping on his claws and than onto it's back with practiced poise.
Continuing this, the Raptor eventually landed on the Therizinosaurus's head as he stretched it upward to allow the Raptor to reach into the tree.
A distant roar from the T-Rex made the Raptor double their efforts on pulling out dry leaves and vines.
But than there was a sound, a distant...
BOOM!
The blind eyes of the Therizinosaurus widened, he threw his claws in the air and began to run around and squawk.
In the chaos, the Velociraptor had been thrown off, the vines and leaves having been thrown and dropped on the sand, the Velociraptor was rapidly approaching the ground as shrieked out for help.
But just a few seconds before it could meet a harsh injury, a grey blur blitzed by and caught the Velociraptor on it's back.
The Black Velociraptor was thrown onto the ground as their savior pounced on them.
Said saviour was another Velociraptor, but she had grey scales and a singular blue stripe down both sides of her body.
The two looked like they had nothing in common physically, you'd be crazy to assume they were siblings. which they were.
They both screeched and thrashed around, the black one kicked the the blue one off of them and quickly got in her face and snapped their jaws at her in a playful manner and she did the same.
Another strained roar escaped the Rex, having had enough of the sibling's banter.
Having gotten back on track, the younger black Velociraptor screeched at it's older sister and gestured it's head to the therizinosaurus that was still overreacting from the sounds of the second sun.
Before the blue one could relent, the black one had already went back to collecting the leaves and vines they had dropped.
Rolling her head, the blue one ran to a nearby tree and jumped from the bark, to a branch and to the top without issue, she leaned down and plucked a berry riddled branch, she than jumped onto the out most branch before letting out a screech towards the therizinosaurus.
The panicking giant stopped running around like he didn't have a head at the sound when he sniffed the air and calmed down completely at the smell of the berries, it slowly walked over and chewing on the berries that the blue one provided.
After the giant had fully calmed down, the Velociraptor had jumped down and began walking towards her sibling and the ruler of the territory.
As she walked out of the shade of the tree, her eyes adapted to the light, especially since it had been all the more harsher thanks to the new second sun.
The second ball of fire had appeared a fair while back, and had begun making loud thundering sounds not long after first appearing.
A few accepted the changes, few didn't. The Therizinosaurus being one of the few that still overreacted at the new norm.
Only thing the blue one couldn't get used to were all these damn mosquitos, it was like they had been showing up more ever since the second sun came.
As she reached her sibling and the injured Rex, she walked past her sibling as they wrapped a dry leaf around the T-Rex's leg as she groaned.
The blue one walked up to face the Rex and began snapping up a conversation, after a few j.itters and growls, the Rex suddenly turned her head at the question of her wounds.
Growling, the blue one stalked closer and snipped at the larger predator, after a long second the T-Rex let out a soft growl.
Having heard her, the black Velociraptor tightened the vine around cast made of leaves on the Rex's leg a bit to harshly causing her to roar in pain.
The blue one began to rapidly shriek at the injured giant in a scolding manner, absolutely enraged that the Rex would be stupid enough to fight the demon, again
A roar escaped the Rex, refusing to call him a demon, he was nothing but a egotistical bully.
The black Raptor rushed up to the two females and chirped at their sister in defence of the Rex's action, said sister snapped back and gestured her head at the Rex, injured and barely walking.
Said Rex looked back at herself and let out a soft growl, agreeing with the older Velocirator before resting her chin on the sand.
The black Velociraptor walked up to the the tired Rex and chirped at her in desperation and she only pulled her snout away, the younger Velociraptor couldn't believe that after so long that the Rex was just... Giving up?
They whipped back to their sister and shrieked, she only responded by snapping back, this went on for a bit before the black one roared and ran off.
Their roar echoed in the endless desert as he ran off, all the while everyone just stood in silence.
Eventually, the blue one shrieked loudly in agitation before running into another direction as the Rex just growled softly before trying to sleep to let her injuries heal, having finally accepted with a bitter taste in her mouth, that she couldn't defeat the bully alone.
The Therizinosaurs slowly turned his head to the footprints left by the black Velociraptor.
-------------------------------------------------------
A pack of Compsagnathus ran over a san dune as the black Velociraptor was hot on their tails, they lunge forward and snap at the stragglers who were getting left behind.
They could've easily bit down on a bunch of them, but that wasn't the plan.
Looking forward there was a tree not to far away, and the Raptor's eyes locked onto it, letting out a shriek, they herded the Compies forward.
As the small pack pursued by the neared the tree, two blurs lunged out from the tree tops, a bunch of the Compies ended up trapped and dead while the remaining scattered.
The black one stopped and chirped while throwing their head up, the other two raised their heads as well.
The black one walked over and took one of the dead Compies into their mouth and begin to chow down, the one with the purple stripe took the bottom half of a Compy into her mouth and the other Raptor bit down on the top half.
They both tear the parts apart and chowed down, the two Raptors leaned and nuzzled their snouts against each other. Obviously more than just friends.
The black one starred at them as they nuzzled against each other, but quickly shook their head before any thoughts could form, they quickly chowed down on more dead Compies to stuff their mouth as they walked next to the purple one and sniffed the leaf bandage around her ankle.
They chirped, the purple one lightly stomped their foot, it was good at first but than a sting of pain shot through her, she wailed and almost fell over but the black one pressed their side to her.
She leaned against them and let out a slight chirp as the grey one helped her stand on both feet.
Not to far away, hidden behind a tree, chewing on some berries was the Therizinosaurs, listening in, he could hear the three striking up a conversation, hearing the the black one actually be so happy and carefree, he couldn't help but curve his beak upward before slowly stalking away.
-------------------------------------------------------
Light snoring emanated from the Rex's snout as night had fallen over the land, cooling the burning sand down.
Hearing the sound of something heavy being dragged, the T-Rex rose from her slumber, she raised her head and saw a distant silhouette slowly walking over.
She tried to stand up, but couldn't her wounds had taken their toll on her, but luckily she wasn't defenseless.
The Therizinosaurs trudged over to the resting dino before walking over to the sound of the dragging.
From her place infront of the cave, she watched as the silhouette chirped in a familiar way, the Therizinosaurs stabbed his long claws into the silhouette and lifted it up, revealing it was a dead adolescent triceratops that the blue one had been dragging.
As the two walked over and the Therizinosaurs dropped the carcass for the two predators, as the blue one came closer to the cave, the Rex could see the new scars that riddled her body, the Triceratops put up on hell of a fight for her.
But she had sisterly rage on her side.
The Rex bellowed at the Raptor, but she just ignored the Rex and walked past her before curling up at the face of the cave.
Before she could do anything else, she heard more rushing footsteps and saw the black one returning home, they slowed their run when they saw the blue one resting at the cave.
They slowly sneaked into the cave, but it wasn't enough as they heard a chirp behind them.
Turning around, they saw her now awake and chirping at them, they simply chirped back, but then chirping turned to shrieking and than to roaring.
With one final roar the black one ran into the cave as the blue one just roared in anger.
She just couldn't understand why couldn't her sibling understand that they don't stand a chance against the Devil from the south alone. She wanted to put that bastard in his place as much as anybody but she also knew the risks.
And she wasn't willing to lose more family.
However, her thoughts were interrupted when one of the Triceratop's legs was thrown infront of her, she looked back at the T-Rex who was eating the dead animal and with a snort, she too began to eat the leg as the Therizinosaurs chewed on berries from the trees and the black Raptor's snores emanated from the cave.
This truly was a weird batch, two Velociraptors, an old, blind Therizinosaurs and a Tyrannosaurs Rex all coexisting together.
But they had to after the Devil appeared from the south, taking over, killing for sport, he even killed the temperamental Spinosaurus that ruled the nearby river connecting to the watering hole.
The Rex watched as the blue one ate the leg, her anger lowering.
She still remembered the day she met them.
They have had multiple encounters up to that point, over territory and while hunting.
But the most important one was right after another fight with the bully from the south, this time she was left barely alive, but the two Raptors, along with their still alive pack at the time, rescued her, knowing she was the best chance against the bully.
So with the black one's great proficiency at treating injuries, she allowed the two to stay at her territory.
The blind Therizinosaurus however just wondered into her territory after the smell of the berries in the trees, she was gonna eat him right there, but the black one was able to talk her down since the Therizinosaurus could help.
Since then, he always kept his ears and nose open for any sign of danger, and also his ramblings and stories were sometimes enjoyable for her.
Under any other circumstance, all of them would've been enemies, but the Devil's appearance forced them together.
To survive.
To find a way.
And they did...
-------------------------------------------------------
The beak of an infant Anklyosaurus dipped into the water, her slight difference in size of her head bumps making her stick out amongst her herd as they all gathered around the watering hole. Along with tons of other animals.
The vast pool of water in a valley surrounded by sandy hills, a small oasis, a place of piece among predators and prey - At least when the Devil wasn't their.
A bunch of Dreadnoughtus remained on one side, either trudging through the water or remaining on the shore, on one of the hills lay a carcass being devoured by a group of Pteranodons, but they quickly fly off as a Quetzalcoatlus flew over and began to take over on the carcass, it let's out a loud shriek.
Crossing the watering hole was a herd of Nasutoceratops crossed the watering hole, the young one ramming their heads into each other.
A pack of Atrociraptors were drinking from the water, one was bigger than the three redish ones, that one was a pale white.
Running around the pond was a small group of Gallimimus as a Suchomimus emerged from the waters.
Among the wildlife, a singular Raptor stalked amongst them, the black one slowly walked up to the water before dipping their snout into it.
It had been a fair while since the argument with their sister, they still wanted to continue against the Devil from the south, but their sister and even the Rex had given up hope, along with the Therizinosaurus.
They huffed into the water in anger and frustration, but that quickly faded away when they heard a familiar chirp behind them.
Turning around, they saw the purple Raptor and grey Raptor, they chirped at the two females who chirped back, the grey one nudged the purple one, who slowly walked out from behind her.
The black Raptor chirped in happiness when they saw the purple Raptor without the leaf around her ankle, meaning it was fully healed.
She chirped, as if to thank them, as she slowly walked over and nuzzled the top of her head into their chin, catching them by surprise.
But what completely made them freeze up was when she moved forward to trail her spine and eventually tail against their chin. The tail curling causing their chin to lean into it.
And then the grey one walked over, rubbing against their side and repeating the action with their own tail.
The black Raptor stood astonished for a second before eventually snapping out of it and joining the two for a drink at the hole.
They couldn't help but eye them as they drank, but the second the other Raptor's eyes caught them, they turned their eyes to the water.
Eventually, they pulled away from the water, the black one lets out a light chirp, attracting the other two's attention, they fidgeted with their claws and their big toe repeatedly tapped against the bank of the watering hole as they let out a few more chirps.
They fully turned to the other two Raptors as the built up their voice...
But it was drowned out when he arrived...
STOMP...
STOMP...
STOMP...
Each one rhythmic, each one terrifying.
All the surrounding animals on the side of the watering hole quickly cleared out. A few taking the moment to escape entirely.
But others aren't as lucky, young ones quickly hide behind their parents as the Devil slowly came down the hill, knowing what he was doing and enjoying.
The second sun was placed perfectly behind him to cast him in complete shadow, but everyone could tell it was him.
And as he dipped down to take a sip of the water, the shadows dropped to reveal the Devil from the south.
The Giganotosaurus kept his eyes trailed on every being that stood opposite to him, taking them in, sizing them up...
Every being that remained at the watering hole stayed still as rock, knowing what would happen if they didn't.
If they run, they die.
If they act resilient, they die.
If they even breath wrong, they die.
After a short minute, the Giganotosaurus raised his head from the water, letting out a growl as he stepped into it and began to prowl around the selection.
A growl escaped his jaws, mates subtly stepped closer to their other halves as children quivered behind their parent's legs.
Looking to her side, the purple Raptor saw the black one starring defiantly at the slowly approaching apex.
She quickly slapped them with her tail to snap them out of it as the Devil from the south approached.
He slowed down agonizingly as he moved in front of the trio of Raptors.
The black one's jaw tightened as they struggled to control the sounds in their throat, the grey one stepped closer to the purple one.
And the Giganotosaurs noticed all of it.
He than suddenly turned as if to leave, causing the grey one to relax.
SMACK!
The grey Raptor was sent skipping across the water before slamming into a tree causing it to timber over onto her, all due to the Giganotosaurus's whipping tail.
Still at the water hole, the other two remaining Raptors watched in horror and rapidly forming anger.
The Giganotosaurus was slowly approaching the injured Raptor under the tree only to get attacked from the side as the purple and black ones both lunged at him.
He thrashed around, eventually grabbing the purple one's tail and throwing her at the trapped Raptor.
Luckily the purple one crashed onto the mushy soft part of the ground near the water, she quickly scrambled to her feet and ran to help her trapped mate.
She pressed her head against the tree in an attempt to push it off, but it was no use, the grey one watched at how the Giganotosaurus was toying with the black Raptor as they were clawing at him with rage.
Turning to the purple one, the grey one chirped weakly at her mate, who in turn let out a few defiant chirps at her idea, but eventually relented after a desperate look from the grey one.
With a relenting snap of her jaws, the purple Raptor was off, her newly healed foot doing her wonders as she ran over the sand hills over to the only few beings who would not only be brave enough, but also willing to help the black one and fight the Giganotosaurus.
-------------------------------------------------------
The echos of the screeches from the blue one echoed throughout the cave as she exited it.
She had been searching for her sibling for a fair while at this point, she really wanted to talk them into seeing it her way, but not only did she have no luck in that, she couldn't even see her damn sibling.
The cave suddenly shook as the blue one looked to the side to see the T-Rex leaning against the side of the outer side of the cave as she tried to stand but her wounds still hadn't fully healed even after some time.
A tremor was felt in the rocky ground as the Therizinosaurus stepped into view, chewing a few berries in his beak as he had his head turned in a specific direction and locked dead on.
The blue one followed his gaze and a silhouette running at them over the hill.
Her eyes turned into slits at an intruder in their territory.
Two dust puffs were kicked up from where she once stood as she was off at full speed at the silhouette.
It only took a few moments before the blue one smacked her side against the intruder, causing them to fall onto their side.
The blue one turned back to the intruder to see it was the purple Velociraptor, her eyes widened for a split second in recognition of her sibling's friend before going back to normal at recognition of the being stealing her sibling away.
Rushing forward, she bashed her head against the other Raptor just as she was getting up.
The purple one fell to the ground on her back as the blue one placed her leg on the purple one's chest to pin her down, the blue one raised her hooked toe, ready to strike down only for the purple one to let out a loud shriek.
Not to far away back, the Therizinosaurus and T-Rex both raise their heads in surprise at the purple one's claim.
Back with the two Raptors, the blue one turned her head to where the purple one had come from, she turned back to said Raptor pinned under her before letting out a growl.
She wasn't gonna take a risk of her sibling actually being in danger.
The blue one to where the other Raptor had come from, the purple one turned onto her side as she took a breather, but that didn't last for long as the ground shook and she quickly had to rush out of the way of the Therizinosaurus as he blindly ran by.
Snorting out a breath, the purple one rushed after them, non of the three seeing the T-Rex trying to slowly trudge forward.
-------------------------------------------------------
The blue one rushed forward, she jumped over a small sandy ledge with the purple one right behind her as the Therizinosaurus straight bursted though it.
Both of the Raptors moved around a boulder as the purple one chirped at the blue one as they neared the watering hole after running ofr some while.
The two of them began to rush up an incline and the second they reached the top the purple one didn't stop and rushed down into the valley oasis but the blue one, along with the Therizinosaurus remained at the top and watched in shock for a moment.
-------------------------------------------------------
SMACK!
SPLASH!
The black one went sliding across the bank of the watering hole, they roared before rushing back at the Giganotosaurus, said bigger predator roared aswell as he sweeped his head at the smaller biped only for said smaller biped to jump onto his head and begin to scratching and biting routine on the face.
Thrashing around, the black one was sent flying and landed on the rough ground on the shore.
All the animals were still at the watering hole, lowered their heads as the apex approched the downed Raptor.
He loomed over the small predator before letting out an amused snort and lunging downwards.
And for a split second, all the black Raptor saw were teeth and a guiding light into a new place before he was snapped out of it by a familiar pair of claws pushing him away from the jaws of death.
A loud snap echoed throughout the valley as the jaws of the Giganotosaurus closed around the air and nothing else. He slowly turned his head to the water where the two had crashed.
The black one raised their head from the water to see their saviour was their sister, but their was quickly swatted back into the water by said sister as she began to shrieking at them in a scolding manner.
Pressing their feet to their sister's stomach, the black one shoved her off before getting onto their legs and screeching back at the blue one.
The two began bicker once more, shrieking and roaring at each other, but their sounds were silenced by an echoing roar from the apex.
Giving her sibling a last glare, the blue one stepped forward and chirped at the Giganotosaurus, her sibling was to shocked by her action to even stop her.
It was like a bad taste in her mouth at the mere thought of begging this bully for mercy.
But she wasn't gonna let her pride get in the way of protecting her family.
Not again.
To everyone's surprise, the Giganotosaurus stepped back and raised his head.
Almost like he was actually considering it...
But than it happened... A slow, rambunctious sound escaped his Jaws, almost like a deep growly laughter.
The blue one tightened her jaw before moving back to her sibling and nudged him to move, to take the chance to run.
But they were cut off by a low growl from the apex as he stepped closer one more, eyeing the both of them, before it almost laughed harder.
It than slowly looked down at them and with a deep growl, he let them know...
He recognized them...
And he began to run his Jaws about that day, the day they saved the T-Rex, and lost their pack.
The Giganotosaurus began to circle the two siblings as he continued, both of the Raptors on high alert, the blue one trying very hard to keep her anger down.
But than he went there, he began to recount how he slaughtered their siblings...
The one with green stripes down her back. He had thrown a log at the unsuspecting Raptor from behind and killed her.
The teal one, he had thrown her into a nearby wildfire, and watched as she burned.
And finally, the dark orange one with blue stripes all over, he threw the Raptor at the ground repeatedly until she was nothing more than blood on the ground.
He recounted over and over in disgusting detail at how he had massacred their family.
SHRIEK!
And than something snapped in the blue one, an anger she had buried deep down that she now channelled into every scale as she lunged at the Giganotosaurus.
Not waiting a moment, the black one joined their sister in the attack, the blue one lunged at the back of the apex's head and dug her claws in while roaring at him what him what he was.
A Devil.
He threw her off his head and whacked her sibling away as he roared to correct her.
He was no Devil, just superior, benevolent...
An emperor, or if you will...
Both siblings lunged at him, having had enough his ramblings and cutting him off.
The black one scratched at his eyes as the blue one dug at the back, the black dug it's feet into the apex's bottom jaw to ground themselves as they continued their work.
With a growl, the Giganotosaurus stopped thrashing around and managed to get the black one's leg in his mouth.
He thrashed the Raptor to the ground, the water getting kicked up, the blue one's eyes widened as she jumped off.
The Giganotosaurus kicked the downed Raptor further across the watering hole before running over, not noticing the blue blur running behind him.
The black one slowly pushed himself out from the water, their head booming, their vision slowly returned as they looked towards the far shore to see the grey Raptor barely moving underneath the tree as the purple one desperately tried to push it off.
Their body was aching in pain, but they couldn't let up, they growled as they got onto their feet.
They knew they had to fight, because others couldn't.
But than a shadow passed over them, they slowly turned back, body still in pain and saw the Giganotosaurus's Jaws mere seconds from snapping closed.
It was all to fast, they had no time to react as they were suddenly pushed away once more.
The black one landed in the water as they heard the Giganotosaurus chomp onto something.
Turning back, the black one raised their head as the Giganotosaurus threw his head back to throw whatever was in his mouth upwards.
As their eyes landed on the victim, the black one's eyes widened more than ever before as the one falling down into the Giganotosaurus's mouth was the blue one.
Time slowed to a crawl as they watched as their sister, their last family, one the ones who took them in after their own blood abandoned them, at last met their fate.
CHOMP!
Blood mixed into the water as the black one saw their last sister get eaten, her right leg landed next to him, her vibrant blue stripe being tarnished by the streak of red going down the limb.
The water rippled as the Giganotosaurus walked over, casting a shadow over the unmoving raptor as he began to run his blood coated jaws again, finishing the statement from earlier.
And he declared himself... A God.
SHRIEK!
Not giving a damn, the black one rushed forward, the apex chomped downwards, but the Raptor jumped through his teeth and underneath him before beginning to claw at his underside.
The Giganotosaurus roared as it tried to move away, but the Raptor consistently stayed underneath him before having to quickly dive away as he dropped down on his belly in attempt to crush the last Raptor.
Said Raptor clawed at his sides now that he was down on his stomach, the apex stood up, but not before the black one jumped onto his back and continued going ham at him.
The Giganotosaurus tried to thrash them off but the had their claws dug deep, in a continued frenzy, the apex made more futile attempts to throw the smaller biped off.
But in his frenzy, his eyes landed on the two female Raptors, the grey one still trapped beneath the tree as the purple one desperately tried to save her.
With a cruel idea forming, he began to make a run for them, all three of the Raptors noticed.
Letting out a shriek, the purple one rushed at approaching apex as her trapped mate tried to stop her to no avail.
She let out a roar before lunging onto his face, the Giganotosaurus threw his head about, this wasn't part of his idea but he could find a way out.
Eventually, he threw the purple Raptor down onto the water as the black one continued doing heavy damage onto his back, he spun around in attempt to slap the female away but she just jumped onto the apex's tail before running to his back and joining the black one.
The apex let out a roar of genuine pain, attracting shock and commotion from animal at the watering hole, they began to make nosie, almost cheering on the fight.
With a grunt, the Giganotosaurus threw itself back, the two Raptors quickly jumping off as the apex landed on his back in the water, he quickly scrambled to his feet as the Raptors came back.
The black one went for the feet as the purple one lunged at his face once more, but this time he swung his snout and hit the purple Raptor before she could land, and just before she could get away, he bit down whatever part of her he could reach.
Which just so happened to be her recently healed left ankle.
She let out a shriek of pain, pulling the attention of the black one, they shrieked at the purple one but before they could do anything, the Giganotosaurus stomped their foot down on the black one, kicking up a gush of water.
CRUNCH!
A loud roar of pain escaped the purple Velociraptor as the Giganotosaurus closed his teeth around her leg and crushed it, before whipping her around and throwing her to shore, just painfully close enough, yet far enough that she couldn't reach the grey one.
They both turned their attention back to the Giganotosaurus as he looked down at his foot at which the black one was pinned under.
Their bottom half crushed underneath the foot of the bigger predator, said bigger predator slowly lowered his head to the Raptor, he pressed his snout to the side of their head and pushed their head into the shallow water of the coastline.
One half of the Raptor's head was submerged while the other was still able to breath, the Giganotosaurus let out a low growl straight into the rapidly breathing Raptor's ear. The stomping and noise of the surrounding animals had long since be silenced.
He ramble straight into the Raptor's head how he crunched down on their sister and how he was gonna do far worse things to the two female Raptors they were fond off.
The half submerged Raptor began to shake violently under the giant's foot as a wetness began to form in their eyes that had nothing to do with them being submerged.
With a desperate shriek they threw their right claw at the Giganotosaurus's snout, but it did barely anything.
The Giganotosaurus let out a cruel noise, almost like laughter as the black one pulled their claws out only to smack his snout with back of their hand desperately as the wetness rained down their face from their eyes.
But after he had gotten all his laughs in, the Giganotosaurus lunged forward and-...
CRUNCH!
Both female Velociraptors turned their heads away as the wetness formed in their eyes as well.
CRUNCH!
The Giganotosaurus stepped away from the what remained of the last of the Raptors, he starred down at his newest addition to the collection.
Backstriked.
Incinerated.
Splattered.
Chomped.
And now...
Bisected.
The motionless bottom half of the the black Velociraptor remained motionless as their blood mixed with the water.
Looking into the distance, up the hill where the Therizinosaurus stood, alongside him now stood the T-Rex.
A snort of amusement left his nostrils as from all the way from down there, he could still see the anger and rage burning in her eyes.
She glared down at the Giganotosaurus, this big bully had thrown the circle of life into chaos, terrorized everyone, killed for the sake of it, had put her on death's door on multiple occasions, done countless other horrific things...
But killing her friends...
That was the last damn straw. This was ending today.
The Therizinosaurus let out a small chirp, not wanting another one of his friends to gamble their lives, but it was to late, she had already taken multiple booming steps down the hill.
Widening his stance, the Giganotosaurus slowly trudged across the water as the decending Rex had picked up speed. her leaf bindings tearing off as wind hits her still healing wounds.
Before long, she was in a full downward sprint as the Giganotosaurus was doing the same across the water.
The T-Rex rushed into the water, the liquid doing little to lower her speed as she and Giganotosaurus rushed at eachother.
BOOM!
The second sun let out another thundering sound as the two giants clashed their heads, a shockwave went out causing the water to gush up around them.
They both stared eachother down, the Giganotosaurus eyes slightly closed in twisted amusement, while the T-Rex's were wide and bloodshot with anger.
Both giant's feet slip slightly against the wet surface underneath the water.
With a huff, the T-Rex suddenly pulled back causing the Giganotosaurus to stumble forward, the Rex spun around and whipped him onto his side with her tail.
He landed with a rough thud, but before he could get up, he was suddenly dragged back by his tail as he desperately clawed at the ground.
The Rex spun around and slammed the Giganotosaurus around by his tail, she threw him away as he slid across the ground.
Roars and stomps erupted from the animals that surrounded them, once again cheering on the demise of the cruel emperor.
As the Rex quickly approached, the Giganotosaurus spun on his back and sweeped her feet from under her before quickly getting onto his legs as she fell on her side.
He stomped forward and bit onto her neck before lifting her up and beginning to slam her into the ground repeatedly.
She hooked her leg behind his and tripped him onto his back, his jaw falling open and she rolled away from him.
They both quickly get to their feet, but the T-Rex was faster, she quickly got onto her feet and slammed the top of her head against his side, before slamming the side of her head against his head, before kicking him in the side to knock him down.
He let out a pained roar as she bites onto his neck and forces him to stand up, she bites down multiple times while spinning around.
While stumbling around as she dragged him, his eyes landed on the tons of animals that cheered as time slowed for a moment.
Cheered for his demise.
For the end of his rule.
And that sparked anger within him. The gall of these lower creatures to cheer for the end of his benevolent rule.
No that would not happen, he would rule.
After all, if he could, then why shouldn't he?
He raised his leg and dug the claws into the wound on her leg that he had given to her in their last battle.
She roared in pain which allowed the Giganotosaurus to pull his neck free from her jaws before whacking her back with his head.
He ran forward and bashed the underside of her chin with his head, before whipping around to send her stumbling before falling on her side.
This time he ran at her only for her to spin on her back, but expecting it, the Giganotosaurus jumped upwards as he was about to land on her, the Rex kicked him square in the stomach to send him flying back.
She then got onto her legs and rushed at him.
He landed roughly on his back before bouncing onto his side and getting to his feet and charging at the female.
They both bashed their heads again but quickly glided past that to try and bite each other's neck.
The Rex got a few bites in but the Giganotosaurus took advantage of her open wounds once more by targeting them.
He uppercutted her with the top of his head before chomping down on the bottom of her neck and jumping up to dive backwards into the water while slamming her into it.
With her mind completely dazed, she struggled to her aching legs.
Knowing this, the Giganotosaurus took his sweet time getting up before circling her, slowly.
He whacked her rear with his tail causing her to whip around and lunge at him only to get a brutal tail whip to jaw.
Before she could fall into the water once more, the Giganotosaurus rushed forward and bites into her neck.
She roared in pain and tried to thrash out, but it no use as he bit down harder.
He forced her to stumble forward in front of the watching crowd, her eye roaming over the once more quiet animals.
Their hopelessness and lowered heads, the children hiding.
A wetness streaked down the T-Rex's face, the Giganotosaurus tasted the salty taste of the water from her eyes and he enjoyed.
He then bit down a few more times, each time, she roared in pain.
All the gathers predators and prey, adults and children lowered their heads in an attempt to silence the slow and painful inevitability.
A final painful roar left the Tyrannosaurus Rex as she looked up, her vision blurred from the pain and wetness.
In the brief moments, memories flooded her mind.
The Raptor siblings who saved her and healed her, how she allowed them to live with her as the Giganotosaurus claimed more territory than he could ever need, the old geezer Therizinosaurus's tall tales and stories, how they all hunted together, how they all went to bath together, how they eat off the old geezer's claws if any intruder was unfortunate enough to end up on them, how they looked out for each other, how they all survived together...
More than unlikely allies...
Even more than friends...
A family.
And even in the end... At the end of the line. She wouldn't change a thing.
CRUNCH!
Than she went limp, her arms going limps and her body slowly being released from the Giganotosaurus's jaws so the left side of her body would fall and splash loudly into the water.
Her pupil slowly expanded as the Giganotosaurus put his foot on her body before letting out a commanding roar to let them know...
The Emperor still reigns.
And with that he pushed off the dead body, having put an end to this failed revolution.
The purple and grey Raptors snarled as they were covered by the emperor's shadow as he lumbered over with disgusting glow in his eyes.
The herds of animals and slowly or pack predators quickly decided to finally leave, the adults quickly shoving the young forward to spare them the emperor's wrath.
At the top of the hill, the Therizinosaurus lowered his head as wetness rained down from his eyes, he knew he should've done something, he should've fought, but he was to old.
All he would've been is a burden.
Like he always was, to everyone. Blind, runt, helpless, dead weight.
And after he found a family again, a one that wouldn't leave him for dead because of his disability, he let them down again.
He turned his back, unable to bear anything more and began to long treck back to empty cave.
-------------------------------------------------------
Back down in the blood stained waters where a dead Rex lay looking straight up at the sky, the second sun reflecting in her dead eyes.
A high pitched buzz was heard a small insignificant bug flew past her dead eye and landed on her body.
A mosquito.
Her soulless eye stared up at the second sun in a silent prayer for salvation, a reckoning, and with another loud noise from the second sun it shined brighter.
The mosquito flew past the dead eye once more, now filled with blood as it flew upwards getting silhouetted by the now brighter second sun.
Or did it get bigger... Almost like it was getting closer...
