Work Text:
Saliva drips down the side of Camille's mouth. He hastily wipes it up with a gloved hand.
"A-ah, my apologies—"
The black leather is already shiny from the previous times he wiped it up after this battle finished. It's only been a minute or two since it's end, and yet he cannot stop the involuntary reaction his body is having.
After the close call with Char almost stealing his blood a while back, his bloodthirst has gotten worse. Even more so now.
The tricks his former family just played are influencing him, making his mouth water from the sudden onset of hunger and the pain in his back ache at the most random of times. Pushing his senses to their limit, pushing his ability to restrain himself and tolerate it all even more.
Yearning for that lost half comes with many downsides. One of them being an ever present need to fill that part of himself with blood of any kind, especially the one that's closest and easiest to get to. It makes his blood-thirst worse than any other vampires.
Camille is sure that Char knows this, and is using it to his advantage. The LB camp had been full of Char's followers just moments ago.
Now, it's just Camille and Endmin, with the clue they managed to find and Camille losing his mind from being caught up in a trap set up by Char. It's making his mind more frazzled than ever and his bloodthirst worse.
What better way to isolate and distance Camille from the famed Endministrator than by attacking him?
That's definitely what Char had been thinking, setting it up.
His eyes glue themselves to the ground from embarrassment. The blood he does have in his system circulates in his face and tips of his ears, turning them a shade of red. He's sure the hunger he feels might as well be visible on his face with the way he's acting.
He doesn't want to imagine how much of a mess he looks right now, far from the composed self he is most of the time.
"Are you okay?" the Endministrator speaks up from across from him, the hand that has always offered solace outstretched towards Camille. Even with the mask in place, his tone and the downturned sides of his mouth let Camille know that he's concerned.
"Getting caught up in that couldn't have been okay…"
It makes his brain turn off.
'If I could just take it off and bite him, take him, I'm so hungry-' Camille sees the way Endmin's mouth changes into a surprised O, telling him his eyes have turned red- 'just one drink, one drop is enough—'
"No!" Camille's words echo, more aimed at himself than at Endmin.
Endmin's hand had barely come close to touching him, but Camille pulled away like he'd been burned. Vampiric instincts flare up, he's so scared he'll act on these hidden desires, and he bares his teeth at his friend.
The second he realizes what he'd done his eyes widen, edges of his mouth turning down into a small sad frown. Sharpened, razor focused eyes turn soft and he looks back up at Endmin with guilt practically dripping off of his expression.
"I'm… I-I'm sorry-" His feet slowly, shakily, walk backwards. Both embarrassment and guilt eat him alive, and his arms raise up to shield his face from his one and only trusted friend.
The trusted friend that he'd just snapped at and pushed away, again, after promising not to anymore.
"I didn't mean to, I just-"
"Camille."
The Endministrator's deep voice pierces through the self-hatred welling up within him like a sharpened sword.
As if approaching a scared animal, Endmin slowly approaches him again. His hands are raised where Camille can see them, opened and soothing the out-of-sorts vampire. The steps are slow, and yet Camille can't help taking a few steps backwards himself, to get away.
It hurts, to walk away, but it's for Endmin's safety.
"Don't come any closer," he says, nerves showing through. He looks away. Then back. He blinks and looks to the side and back at Endmin repeatedly, keeping track of their positions and always staying at least two steps away.
But even with his precautions, with his worries clearly showing on his face, Endmin doesn't stop his approach. He comes closer steadily, neither slowing down nor speeding up.
Vampires are natural predators, and yet Camille feels like prey in a situation where he's not even the one in danger.
"Just… stay away." Camille can't articulate himself the way he usually does. Saliva drips down from the side of his mouth, sharp fangs poking out and elongated. He curses and wipes it again with the back of his hand, accidently snagging his glove on one of them.
It rips clearly, as if a razor-sharp knife was used. Camille looks back up, though he's unsure if he even wants to see Endmin's face right now.
Back when they first met, and every moment after, he feels as though the Endministrator could always see through him. Even now, the man looks more curious than scared. As if the danger is something to marvel at or observe, not fear.
As always, whenever the amnesiac man doesn't understand what's wrong, he tilts his head to the side. Despite the mask still firmly on his face, Camille can imagine the slightly confused yet curious look in his eyes that he has underneath it.
"Why?" Endmin asks. Camille hesitates to answer, swallowing hard.
They're still doing the little dance of Endmin taking one step forward, and Camille taking one back, keeping the distance.
"It's not safe." The vampire answers, feeling the saliva gathering in his mouth. He can't speak in his usual ways, needing to keep it brief due to swallowing so much. Drooling in front of someone also isn't something he'd like to do, even though it's already happened.
"Do not come any closer, Endmin…"
His words take a warning tone that he's never used against Endmin, ever since promising his loyalty. Pain spreads in his heart from even just being slightly harsh to his light. His eyes avert themselves from the shame.
And yet.
"Camille," Endmin says with a gentle, soothing tone. It feels like ice against Camille's bright hot mind. "Are you scared?"
"Huh?" The man in question stutters, finally looking at Endmin directly.
The camp of Landbreakers they've just cleared out surrounds them, freshly cleared denstack still in the vicinity. Camille isn't very aware of them though, all senses focused directly on avoiding Endmin as much as possible.
"Are you scared you'll hurt me?"
Camille's eyes shake. He feels trapped despite standing in an open space.
Flying away right now could be easy. He wouldn't even hurt the Endmin if he did so, having enough room to spread all three wings and blast off back to Seš'qa. And some of his blood bats are in various positions, stationed for easy teleportation, too.
But Endmin…
The vampire shuts his eyes, squeezing them until the skin crinkles from the force. He shakes his head again, then takes a hasty, big step backwards, only to be stopped when he hits a worn hexagonal fence behind him.
One of his smaller wings gets caught in it.
Releasing a slightly panicked sound at having nowhere else to go, Camille opens his eyes to look around, his mind seemingly forgetting he can indeed still fly or teleport or anything—
"It's okay," Endmin says with conviction. The leader's hands are again outstretched in front of him, slowly inching towards Camille's face.
"Endmin…" he tries, once again, to warn the man. "Please don't offer yourself to me."
That is what stops the man in his tracks, hands awkwardly hovering in mid air. They then slowly move back, seemingly giving up their pursuit.
The Seš'qa noble feels calmer seeing Endmin stop, but then startles when the man chuckles.
"Pfft- Camille," his voice is joyful and somewhat teasing, and Camille doesn't understand why this person is so insistent on continuing his advance even after seeing how little control he has over himself right now.
"I"m not offering myself or anything like that," Endmin says, "I just want to help you."
"That's the same thing…"
"Offering myself would mean I am in danger. But as you can see," his hand tries to brush against Camille's, who immediately snatches it away before they can even touch.
Not a scratch lays on the leader's hand. "I am not."
The vampire doesn't want to believe Endmin is so careless so as to actually do this.
"Endmin," he tries to speak, throat feeling tight, "Vampires don't drink blood much these days, so I understand-" Camille has to gulp and wipe the side of his mouth, "but I'm not… my situation is different."
"Oh?" Endmin hums, still approaching Camille. They're about one big step away from each other, and subconsciously, Camille tries to take another step back. Which he can't, so his heel just hits the fence with a rattling sound.
"That's… I…"
"I'm curious now, Camille."
The Sarkaz stays quiet for a while, debating it all. But him and Endmin, they're… friends. They're close. Camille offered himself and his loyalty to him. It'd be a disservice to him, as well as to their promise.
Maybe this way, he can make sure Endmin truly understands this all. After this, there's no way he'll want to continue.
"Because of the half I'd lost…" he starts, not even feeling the usual pang of pain from how focused his senses are on the man in front of him, "I crave to become whole again."
Endmin nods. He always listens to Camille's plight so seriously, even though this is information he already knows.
It makes Camille hungry.
Camille wipes his mouth again. "I don't want… help with it. For a moment, my senses would be-" he swallows- "satisfied. But then…"
"You'd get hungry again?"
The tone almost sounds analytical. Camille's ears ring lightly from how attentive the Endministrator is, all of that intelligence aimed at him. The only thing he feels he can do is nod.
With how agitated he is now, both from Char's ministrations and Endmin's persistent approach, he can practically smell the blood underneath the other's skin.
Curse his senses.
"Okay," Endmin replies after thinking, then moves onto his next question, "and how often would that be?"
Camille's mind blanks a little at the back of Endmin's hand brushing against the small wing that's not caught in the fence. It's positioned in front of Camille like a small barrier. He hadn't even realized he was doing it.
"Uh-" he wracks his brain. It feels like everything in his is shutting down, as all of his willpower is being used to stay in place, "about… every week?"
Delirious, he doesn't even really question why Endmin would even ask this. But that's the interval at which he takes his blood supplements.
He hasn't had any real blood in decades. Since childhood.
It was tradition and he'd done it, before being told by his parents that there's no need to follow old rules that only bring disorder. After everything with Char, he'd questioned every action of his parents he remembers.
Camille would wait until Endmin was in his office and talk to him about it all, about every thought and idea his racing mind would come to.
There were many times Endmin suggested weird and new solutions, ones Camille could never think of himself. And if there was nothing to solve, the man would offer kindness and understanding instead.
He knows is that he'd answer anything the leader wants, do whatever he wants. Anything that would help the Endmin and not hurt him, Camille will do. He'd realized it when Endmin reached for and saved him with golden strings, when he promised to help Camille in hunting down Char.
The Endministrator nods, the movement waking Camille from his daydreaming.
"That would be the case even without Char's provocations?" Endmin asks, already knowing that this pain and hunger resurfaces more strongly whenever Camille's missing half of blood is near or he's agitated. It's always something Endmin keeps in mind, caring as he is.
Camille doesn't really know. When isn't he in pain?
The casual conversation is slowly making his muscles relax. Endmin has stopped coming closer, staying where the wing between them stands and no further. His guard falls down bit by bit, though he's still ready to bolt any second.
"Probably not," he says, swallowing again, "maybe it'd be every two weeks, then."
Once again, the leader sagely nods, as if assembling a puzzle in his head. What sort of puzzle he is solving, Camille has no idea. All he can think and do right now is stay still and hope the man realizes letting Camille drink from him is a horrible idea.
"Okay, last question," the Endmin says, before stopping himself.
He's looking Camille right in the face, probably finally noticing how out of it he looks. Not that wasn't visible before, but Camille is sure his pupils are razor-sharp and his mouth open, huffing softly to cool himself down.
He feels hot. It's so unnerving, to feel a bloodlust so intense that beings start looking like bloodbags. But in the moment, his mind is in the zone of a predator.
Camille will surely feel guilt for it later. He even feels it now, in the back of his head. It's the only thing holding him back in his weakened state. One of his arms crosses over his chest, gripping is other bices with a force that's probably cutting off his blood circulation.
"What is it?" He asks.
Endmin still looks concerned, but resolute. He steps a little closer, and Camille's breaths hitches. His eyes squeeze shut, though it doesn't really help. His nose is already torturing him with the sweet, warm blood it can smell underneath Endmin's skin.
"Don't-"
"If I bleed right now, will you lose control?"
Camille's eyes snap open and a snarl makes it's way from his mouth. "What?!"
Endmin cocks his head, smiling still. The confidence isn't new, but the boldness nonetheless catches Camille off guard.
"You take your supplements in those one week intervals too, right?" Endmin asks, though it's completely rhetorical. He's completely correct, and Camille has half a mind to praise his intelligence in his mind.
The thought that Endmin has been watching him and keeping an eye on him makes his stomach flip.
"With real blood, it would be a little more effective. So let's say every two weeks, even when you're more sensitive, would be good." Endmin continues, "but you don't have your supplements with you right now to solve this, right?"
Unfortunately that's also correct, and Camille's silence let's the Endmin know just that.
"So, since you don't want to accept my help, I'll give you a little push."
How could Camille forget that this Savior of theirs has no common sense?
"Endmin, you can't do that-"
"Oh I can," the man interrupts, which he usually never does, "Camille."
The stern tone makes the vampire in question gulp. He's overwhelmed and his senses are going crazy, but that tone somehow overpowers both of those things. For the first time in a while, the small trembles from holding himself back calm down just a little.
"I care for you. And this is clearly hurting you." A hand slowly comes up again, brushing up against his wing as it moves up, towards Camille's cheek. "Let me help."
This time, Camille doesn't back away or flinch, staying pressed up against that damned fence.
Circulating blood, still underneath skin, comes close to Camille's nose. Endmin's hand touches his cheek, cradling it, and Camille is powerless to stop himself from leaning into the caress. It's slow, and like it hurts for him to do, giving Endmin plenty of time to back off and run away.
Even though the Endministrator doesn't, and Camille noses at his wrist where obvious veins show underneath skin…
…his mouth stays shut.
"I can't." Camille says between his clenched teeth. It hurts, it hurts so much he feels he could pass out from the desire raging through him. But he would never bring Endmin harm, ever, "Please… I can't hurt you too…"
The second he says that, the hand gets snatched away with surprising force.
"Huh?" Camille chases it unconsciously, blinking rapidly, then halts in the middle of the action. It feels like slow motion when Endmin grabs the edge of his wing, also sharp and dangerous like the rest of his entire being, and places it against-
"Endmin-?!"
A gash forms against the Endministrator's wrist, deep and long. The edges are golden, glowing with his power, but the wound doesn't close nor disappear. Endmin's powers don't work like they always do.
Instead, it looks like Endmin is… holding it open on purpose?
It immediately starts welling up with blood, and despite it likely being incredibly painful, the man doesn't so much as flinch. The color is unlike anything he's ever seen, red and with a golden shimmer.
'Oh no.'
The sweet scent of the crimson-gold liquid hits Camille like a truck. It permeates the area around them, it invades his nose and makes him dizzy with it's intensity.
"Fuck—" he curses, hands flying to cover his mouth and nose.
There's nothing he can do about the way his legs practically give out underneath him, body sliding down the fence until he's sitting down.
His breathing grows ragged. His fangs scratch his palm. The scent of blood doesn't go away, no matter how much Camille wills it to. Outstretched wings quiver in the air, then slowly curl inwards into a cocoon as if to protect himself.
Until Endmin holds them open, pushing them to the side with no extra effort needed.
"Camille."
The vampire groans, pained. His eyes flit between Endmin's lips and the wound. Blood red pupils constrict into slits, and saliva drips down his chin. The struggle of holding himself back is audible with his huffing, squirming and his wings quivering against the fence he's pressing up against.
'Endmin's blood…' Camille thinks, eyes now solely focused on the wound, 'it smells so good, so sweet, as always…'
Behind the mask, hidden from Camille's gaze, is a curious pair of eyes memorizing every single action.
Endmin walks as close as he can now that he isn't being blocked. He squats down, so that they're at eye-level. Camille still looks like prey to him, jumpy and like he wants to be anywhere but here.
Though not from fear. Rather from a ravenous desire that makes Endmin intrigued.
He himself is a data-based lifeform, with very little instinct of his own. There's so little, that it might as well be none. So seeing Camille like this, so visibly hungry and battling with an innate part of his biology is, in many ways, the most beautiful thing Endmin could witness.
The wonders of nature are everywhere. This too, is a part of that. To Endmin, these moments deserve appreciation.
"Don't hurt yourself any more than this." He talks, slowly coming closer, though the vampire can barely process the words, "I'm giving you this of my own free will, so… please, drink."
As much as he wants to respect Camille's wish of not drinking other's blood, there's a point where his needs outrun his ability to suppress them. The Sarkaz said he does not wish to exploit any companions, and this does not count as such.
So it's likely alright, even with Camille. Endmin knows he is resisting simply because of his complicated past with sharing and receiving blood, as well as not wishing to hurt him.
Which is okay. But right now, Endmin hurts from seeing Camille in pain.
Endmin had stopped smiling a while ago. But his actions remain kind, and it hurts Camille to hold back so much more when the leader brings that wound closer to his face—
—and his entire self-restraint crumbles within a second, wings dissolving into nothing, and body only moving according to instincts.
"Whoa-!"
Camille uses his entire body weight to flip himself and Endmin, holding onto the wrist of the bloody arm to keep it near his mouth.
They've now almost swapped positions, with Camille hovering over the other. The hand that isn't being used is pressed next to the other's head on the ground for balance.
As for the Endmin, he's laying flat on the ground, mask a little askew from the flip, with one arm laying on the ground next to Camille's and the other outstretched upwards.
Camille is holding it still, mouth closing in on the gaping wound. His eyes are closed, yet he perfectly licks the blood dripping down from it with no issue. The quiet sniffing tells Endmin that he's acting a bit like a dog, being guided by his nose.
Hot as Camille's tongue is, it feels like a brand. Endmin is careful not to move away, so he doesn't scare this agitated vampire away.
"Hmm…," the vampire hums, licking his lips to wipe up the blood there, swallowing.
His eyes slowly open, blood red and piercing, staring right at Endmin. Without breaking eye-contact, he goes to mouth against the open wound. Saliva mixes with the crimson liquid, and Camille groans in satisfaction.
His cheeks seem redder now, his skin more life-like. Just from his appearance, Endmin can see how much Camille needed this, how pleasurable he finds this.
"Must've been painful holding back, right?" Endmin mutters, thoughtful.
The only response he receives is that hot tongue dipping into the wound, gathering everything it can. The leader can only hiss at the feeling, twitching in Camille's hold from surprise. He finds that there's no getting away from that hold unless he uses all of his strength.
Camille's hand holding him still tenses up, and so does the rest of his body. Clearly he took that as Endmin trying to get away from him.
Camille's fangs press against his skin, as a warning.
"Stay."
Endmin shudders out a sigh, relaxing all of his muscles . Satisfied, the vampire continues to feed, undignified and messy. It's almost cute with how much of a messy eater Camille has turned out to be.
Every time they've talked, when their conversations have gotten so long they also ate together, the Sarkaz always had very little to eat. Only later did Endmin find out he actually seldom eats regular food, only having it for taste.
But still, he always looked cool. That's his defining characteristic.
So to see him delirious and flushed, panting and eating as if he's never had such a good meal before, takes Endmin's breath away and makes his laugh a little from the gap between Camille's cool and cute side.
Then, he groans quietly, head pressing harder against the ground. Feeling the heady sensation of vampire venom invading his system is something new. With how sloppily Camille is eating, the saliva carrying it is all over the wound.
'According to the things I've ready, it's a venom with paresthesia, mostly tingling,' his thoughts continue, zoning out a little while looking at the beautiful vampire, 'muddled or disorganized thoughts, healing effects. It also makes the one being fed from relax, so as to not fight back.'
Usually, he's completely protected against any attacks or effect, though there's nothing he can do about the inherent weakness of his body, but he's learned to control it. This little gash will do nothing to him in the long run.
Sighing, he realizes that the venom probably will do something in the moment. 'Very powerful vampires do have that effect as well. Enticing the one being fed from…'
Consider Endmin enchanted. Camille looks quite handsome like this. Even more so than in those photoshoots of his.
Theoretically the venom from the Keeper's saliva shouldn't affect him either, but since he's withholding his power from acting, there's no protection against it.
Endmin hadn't realized how powerful it would be. Or maybe that's just a display of how powerful Camille is.
The feeling is getting a little more potent as time goes by.
Vampires usually feed for just a little while, but the one eating his meal right now is savoring the taste of his blood and skin, lips subtly pressing against his forearm in light kisses. His eyes gaze half-open at Endmin, want and desire on display.
With the way Camille looks at him, fangs and lips both worshiping his skin as if it's the best meal he's ever had…
…Endmin can tell this will go on for longer than a little while.
It's been at least 20 minutes since the start of this all.
Camille is only just finishing up, the last drops of blood swiped clean from the already healing wound. Golden veins surround it, showing it's been healed through the joint effort of healing venom and Endmin's powers.
Speaking of which, the man in question is still laying on the ground, flushed and breathing a little harshly. He'd felt the effects… very well.
Camille on the other hand is still in a daze, though now it's less ravenous and more relaxed, as if satisfied by the full meal he's just had. It's a newer look on the man, so unlike he usual passive and guarded expression.
For a bit, they both breathe and calm down, slowly coming down from their highs.
Endmin calms down a lot quicker, though the blush remains, rose cheeks matching that of Camille's. He brings his other hand out, the one that served as food still in Camille's grasp, and cradles the vampire's cheek again.
Camille nuzzles into it.
"Cute…" Endmin says under his breath. He hadn't expected Camille to hear, but it's clear that he did.
Very slowly, the vampire's expression changes from feeling out of it to confused at their position, to panicky, to then embarrassed at their position, as they're still the same way they were during the feeding.
Endmin huffs a laugh, then holds Camille's face a little tighter so the man doesn't just bolt away. With how uncertain and off-balance he seems, Endmin doubts he'd get far.
"It's okay Camille," he says. Turning the vampire's face to the left and right, with no resistance as Camille just lets him do whatever, Endmin sees that there doesn't seem to be an other issues. Well, other than the embarrassment Camille seems to be feeling.
"How are you feeling? Are you doing a bit better?"
The panic and fluster are evident in Camille's eyes. He's leaning into the leader's hand for comfort, but also weirdly trying to get away. His movement causes his knee to bump into the inside of Endmin's thigh, and he squeaks like a scared mouse.
So cute. Endmin hadn't realized just how cute this man could be.
He makes sure to hold him through it all, thumb sweeping lightly against the other's cheekbone. The touch seems to be working, as Camille does stop squirming and looking uncomfortable eventually.
Silence continues for a bit longer, before opening Camille dares to speak.
"I… am okay," he mutters while looking away, saliva and fangs no longer impeding his speech. The intonation he uses sounds like he'll continue, and yet he stops after that one sentence.
Endmin moves his other hand from Camille's hold to reach up and scratch the area beneath his skull.
"It's okay if you're shy," he says, immediately getting protest from Camille.
"I am not—"
"But I need to know if you're feeling okay after all of that. It seemed… intense."
From the way Camille turns his face to the side, face growing a bit more pink, it's probably the correct word to use for describing what happened. That pout on Camille's face is something new, but the Endministrator doesn't mind in the slightest. He quite likes seeing new expressions on the vampire's face, it seems.
Again, Endmin allows him a moment of respite. The quiet makes Camille feel the need to answer.
"I haven't.. No, I didn't think it'd—" he clears his throat, then tries again, "I hadn't really thought about how… satisfying, that would be."
Smiling, Endmin keeps up his ministrations.
Getting Camille to open up is a little difficult, even with how close they are now, so this is rare. They're both relaxed, and the post-feeding haze is still making Camille more lax than usual too.
"It's strange," Camille continues, "I don't feel hungry, now. The pain has also dulled, somewhat. Endmin…"
He sounds a little hopeful, very grateful, among other emotions in the mix, all amounting to something sincere and almost innocent, far from the lustful and hungry feel Camille gave off earlier.
"I didn't wish to drink and take from you without permission, but…" he clears his throat, "I suppose you were quite explicitly permitting me to do so."
Endmin laughs, arms tugging Camille further down. He's not really thinking as he nuzzles their noses together, feeling affectionate and not having the filter to stop it now from the effects of the venom.
"I'm happy you feel better," he says, widening the gap to look into the vampire's eyes, "I wanted you not to suffer anymore, at least for a while. You deserve some respite, after everything."
A smile plays on his lips, though this one is kinder, more empathetic, and Camille can feel just how much the man cares.
They stay close, breathing and looking into each other's eyes, in no rush to get up off the grass. It's a nice day, sunny and a little windy. The breeze ruffles their hair, and it cools down their heated skin. Neither breaks the calm quiet for some time.
But again, there's no way either could stay silent forever, after all of that.
The vampire seems to hesitate again, then his brows furrow in determination. It's an expression Endmin has seen before, but he realizes that he likes it just as much as all the others.
"May I… mark you?"
He knows that he likes every expression Camille makes because he likes Camille.
Endmin has no idea what that question means though, and no amount of staring will solve that issue. He's read about it before, again in the books where he also learned about their venom, but there wasn't much besides saying that it isn't done much anymore.
Camille looks bashful, eyes pleading. And what can Endmin do besides accept?
"Of course, Camille," he replies, letting his arms let go of the other's face and fall to the ground, limp.
Utilizing their closeness, the vampire leans down. His face comes close to Endmin's, and the leader holds his breath. The moment turns into slow-motion, and Endmin feels like he can see every little detail of Camille's face as he comes closer.
But their lips don't touch.
Instead, Camille drops down to the crook of his neck, nosing at the spot just below his jaw. It's a little ticklish, and Endmin subconsciously leans his head to the side to give more access.
Camille purrs — yes, actually purrs deep in his chest — and Endmin cannot believe the cuteness of this man. Minutes pass as he holds off on doing anything, letting Camille do his… marking, whatever that might be.
The Sarkaz lets his tongue slip out, and kitten licks land on Endmin's skin. It's affectionate, and Endmin hadn't realized just how much he had missed this closeness.
As the Endministrator, he has many duties. A lot of paperwork, a lot of on-field work, just a lot to do. Every day, he is in combat, or alone doing paperwork, or doing paperwork with Perlica, or doing work with Operator's—
You get it.
And so getting such affection, especially in a way that Endmin hasn't really received ever since he's emerged from his sarcophagus, is precious.
It's also something he's glad to do with Camille specifically, a man that has given him his life-long loyalty, and kept his promises about always being with him, in one way or another, or at least always available for him.
The only correct response he can think of is to reach up and ruffle the vampire's hair.
That startles Camille out of his actions, hoisting himself up to see what's up. All he sees is a happy Endmin, smiling and carefree, the way he looks whenever he has a rare bit of spare time.
"Endmin— Huh?!"
All of it culminates into Camille receiving butterfly kisses all over his face, especially his forehead. He needs to close his eye when Endmin aims for it, then sputters when Endmin doesn't stop and continues placing kisses all over.
"Endmin!"
Said man continues for a bit longer before heeding Camille's exclamation and calming down, finally laying back down against the ground.
But that makes them end in a pose where they're still close, noses almost touching.
"Camille."
Endmin's voice sounds out, and this close Camille can hear the deep tones and see every little detail of his face. His mask in now very askew, one eye almost fully revealed.
Camille takes the liberty to remove it fully, settling back to where he'd been. Just like this, he can see Endmin's eyes for the first time.
"Beautiful…" he mutters, enthralled.
His "assistant" smiles, letting Camille look all he wants. Blue rings outline his pupils, reminding Camille of a clear sky. The black however is the exact shade of Originium crystal, with only a bit of the golden glow.
It's mesmerizing. The Endministrator himself is mesmerizing. Everything about him makes Camille fall more and more, and he hadn't realized it before this but—
"Camille."
— Endmin truly is a "Savior".
"Kiss me." The leader says, sounding lovely, like all of his affection is there only for Camille to witness.
Camille looks into the other's eyes, actually is able to, and only sees sincerity.
"Of course," he replies, getting close.
"As you command, my savior."
("Pfft—" Endmin laughs right in Camille's face after they separate, "hahaha!"
Camille is confused, but he's also high off of the love given to him by a man he trusts, a man who had saved him and brought him peace after decades of suffering. An angel, a confidant, a friend, a trusted ally, a partner.
And whatever they would become.
"Your savior? Really?" Endmin mutters, looking at Camille with affection, clearly not minding the endearment at all.
It's a word that had been used for Endmin from afar, always from someone who didn't know him. Someone unreachable, only there to bring miracles and then fade into obscurity.
But that addition makes it feel more personal, so affectionate.
