"Saps loves you," Thomas says, and he sounds so sure of it. He says it like it’s a fact. Like it’s written into the stars and carved into their ribs. Saps loves Flux. It’s final. It’s life. This is their forever. Flux knows this.
Saps wants to propose. Flux knows this too. He’d whispered it into his skin before all of this started to become a problem. Before Flux had pulled away and started to build an impenetrable wall, brick by brick. Forehead pressed into Flux’s shoulder, arm heavy around his waist, he’d whispered into the darkness You’re it for me Flux, I don’t want anyone else.Or Flux is struggling, and somewhere along the way having Saps at his side becomes too much.
