Summary
Their home was their safe space - it was theirs, made just for the two of them.
However, sometimes there was a third presence in the apartment. It took up space without having a body, engulfing the overhead lights until only darkness remained. It would press into the concrete of the walls, frightening both of them when it would jump out and suddenly appear.
On the good days, it knew its place, sitting in the back of Seungmin’s mind. It never fully left him, but it didn’t encompass his every thought. That was when it was quiet, peaceful almost. On the bad days, it destroyed everything in its wake.
