   Summary

When Louis turns the phone towards him, Lestat feels his heart drop in his chest, an unimaginable ache fills him as his face contorts into half a smile, you’re fine, you’re fine, you’ll fix this, he thinks.

He hears his own voice speaking words that mean nothing. Bullshit. Louis can’t meet his eye, may never again.
