As soon as the bells rung, all students stood up from their seats and walks out of the classroom, talking to their friends or pull out their phones on their way out. A purple haired boy with demonic features, slung his backpack over his shoulder as he gets up from his seat as he did a quick desk clean up.

"Man, I'm so hungry.." His best friend, Eggchan said standing next to him, Wemmbu looks at his friend, "Well, we're going to the cafeteria anyways. Let's go." He responded to Egg's statement of his hunger as he turns around to walk out of the classroom as his friend follows behind.

As Egg and Wemmbu were chatting through the halls, making a beeline to the cafeteria—

"Wemmbu! Egg! What's up, guys!"

A certain loud boy can be heard from behind them, Wemmbu let out a heavy sigh and a Oh my god... As he turns around to see the familiar dark haired boy with his spider hat. Before he noticed that there's another person beside him,

it's Jaden.

Wemmbu, unknowingly, slightly soften his annoyed grumpy face.

The purple haired boy waves at the other dark haired boy, Jaden waves back at him with a smile, "Sup, bro." He curled his fingers into a fish when he's close enough to Wemmbu. Wemmbu grins as he fist bumped Jaden. "I'm great."

Wemmbu then suddenly almost lost his balance when the spider hat wearing boy jumped on him for a hug, "My best friend, Wemmbu!" He screamed and his voice almost sounds like his trashed mic that he usually use whenever they're gaming together on a call.

"Ack—! Yungy!" Wemmbu spluttered as Yungy hugged and pats him on the back like they were best friends that was separated for years. "Woah, woah, Wemmbu's my best friend." He heard Eggchan remarked next to him with his hands up as Yungy finally lets go, "Aye— We can share!" He then pat the purple haired boy on the shoulder, "He's my buddy too!"

"He don't even like you—"

"What—?!"

Wemmbu huffed which made the two stopped and looks at him, "Can we like— continue this later or something? I need food first before putting up with you guys' bullshit." He complained with his arms crossed to his chest, the three hearing that quickly agrees as they continue their walk to the cafeteria.

"Guys, do you wanna know something crazy?"

Yungy started the conversation, they're sitting in the furthest corner of the room with a round table. When they walked in, it was immediately crowded, Yungy and Egg complained on how they might've not get the lunch they wanted after seeing the crowd of students.

Yungy jokingly suggested on food fight but the rest immediately turns that down even though they know he's just joking, which gave them a sad aw, man.. from Yungy.

Everyone was able to get their lunch, anyways, back to what Yungy was saying;

"A few days ago when I was doing a gym class, we were supposed to get into a team, right? Me, Mugm and Squid alreadly planned on our team, but! The teach heard us and immeadiately stops us because— apparently— quote on quote," Yungy made air quote gesture with his fingers,

" 'It would be unfair to have us together in a team' So, I was forced to be with Arachn1d!" As Yungy finished he crossed his arms and slumped in his seat with a grumpy face and furrowed eyebrows.

"Wait— you're friends with the Mugm and Only_A_Squid? Since when?" Wemmbu raised an eyebrow at the new fact, Jaden then butts in,

"Weren't you like, with Lettuce and Twirps?"

Wemmbu then faced Jaden, "Oh yeah, I don't see them as much anymore.." He then look at Yungy again, "Especially when it's with you."

Yungy tensed up but quickly put up a facade, Wemmbu squints at him, even though the boy's eyes are pure white— he, who's used to seeing those kind of eyes in his house, knows that's Yungy is trying to look away from the stares. "Mugm and Squid helped a while ago in gym class, and we just— became best buds!" He explained with frantic hand gestures.

"And about Lettuce and Twirps... we may or may not fight.."

"Bro."

"It was just Twirps having a problem with me! Lettuce was chill! I think?" Yungy responded quickly and quiet down his tone at end like he's unsure, "We made up in the end and Twirps tries to be more understanding, so, it's all good!"

"I guess..." Wemmbu mumbled as he looked down at his and stabbed it with his fork and put it in his mouth.

"You made Twirps have trust issues, that's crazy."

"What is up with you and moving to multiple friend groups?" Jaden can't help but let out a chuckle at the end because of how ridiculously eventful Yungy's social life is.

"Nah, Yungy gonna leave us for Luigitoan and Rekrap." Eggchan joked.

Wemmbu stops chewing at the silence as he slowly looks up at Yungy.

Jaden sweatdrops and immediately feels awkward.

"...No way. I was just joking."

"About that..."

"Yungy!"

"We have an upcoming project and we were picked to be into a group and we called ourselves; TrickyTrio! Isn't that sick?"

"Just eat the food, bro."

"Okay." Yungy quiets down.

Jaden watches the whole thing as he looks around the cafeteria before noticing a certain beige haired friend— "Oh, Cod!" The person perked up at Jaden's voice before the boy have a smile on his face, "Jaden!"

The other three then look at Jaden's direction on what was happening, "Who is that." Wemmbu looked up at the student, after Wemmbu asked the question Yungy immediately exclaimed, "Oh! My dear friend from my neighborhood!"

The boy smiles brighten seeing another person he recognized, "Yungy!" He excitedly calls out before he looks around the table, "Wait, can I like, sit here?" Jaden then look at the convenient one empty chair, "Well, there's an obvious empty chair right here, yes you can."

"Awesome!" Cod immediately sits down, he looks at everyone before noticing Eggchan, "I like your outfit.

Eggchan perked up at that and smiles, "Thanks. I like yours too."

"Awh, they're bonding already!" Yungy cooed in a sarcastic matter. "We're gonna be such great friends, guys!"

Wemmbu gave a look towards Jaden, and Jaden simply shrugs.

After school, the group actually walked out and chat together, Codmaster already left since he seem to always leave early after school.

"Wemmbu!" Wemmbu heard Yungy calling out to him which made him snap back to reality as he looks back at the boy. "What's up?" He responded a bit slow.

Yungy grins after getting the purpled haired boy' attention, "Is your dad out to work today?" Wemmbu gave a simple quick nod as an answer. "Oh— Can I hang out at your house?" He ask with excitement.

Before Wemmbu could even gave a respond—

"Wait, fill me in real quick." Eggchan butts in.

"Don't leave me out." Jaden quickly adds in.

Wemmbu sighed quietly, "I guess the whole group is coming.. Just wait for a second." He stated before pulling out his phone to open the messaging app and message his little brother, Spoke.

Wemmbu turn off his phone as he look back at his friends, "Well, it's you're guys' lucky day because my brother is having a sleepover." The three cheers at that as Wemmbu huff and turns around, "Don't do anything stupid, though. I don't wanna clean any of you guys' mess while my dad is gone."

"We won't!"

As they made into an apartment building, which is where Wemmbu and his family lives, his three friends stood behind him as he juggle with the spare keys that was given by his dad. After unlocking it he opens the door and reveals the inside of his so called home.

"Yo~!" Yungy drags out, "This is nice!" Eggchan walked in like he's used to the layout as he plops down on the comfortable couch. Wemmbu take off his purple hoodie and toss it at the side before opening the fridge and took a cold water bottled.

After finishing most of it he puts it down on the counter as he unties his half-up hair. "I'm gonna take a quick shower."

"Can I order food?" Eggchan questioned, Wemmbu just gave him an almost ignorant Uh-huh as he continues to walk into the bathroom.

Eggchan takes that as a yes.

As Yungy looks around the apartment, Eggchan scrolling on his phone trying to find foods to order, Jaden follows Yungy. "Codmaster wish he was here and didn't left early."

"Damn right he would!" Yungy grins at Jaden as he barked a laugh.

"Jaden, I know that Wemmbu's dad usually gone to work for like 4 days, right?" Jaden hum for Yungy to continue, "I've been thinking— does that mean ever since he was little he babysit Spoke?"

"Hm. Well, he does take care of Spoke when Minute's out of the city ever since he was little, but he have said a woman named; Hannah always checks up on them and sometimes even stays in." Jaden recalled his memory. "If i recalled correctly, she used to be Minute's close co-worker before he moved his job. That's why he trusted her to check up on his kids."

"Oh," Yungy drags out again, "I get it now." Then they heard the bathroom door opens, and in a coincidence him and Jaden is stading infront of Wemmbu's bedroom door, "Were you guys snooping around?" Wemmbus squints his eyes at the two as he walked out of the bathroom and closed it behind him.

Yungy sweat dropped, "No, bro! We just happen to end standing here!" He tries to prove their innocence as Wemmbu opens his bedroom door to grab some of his stuff.

Jaden watches Wemmbu before he quietly look around his room before seeing a handicraft of sunflowers in a pot, the front of the pot sticked a stickynote written;

Near the handicraft have other stuff lay out around it, as if the person who gifted him gives him other gifts other than the paper craft sunflowers. Jaden tensed up at the familiar name.

Feeling guilty.

He knows that Rejoice is okay. He's glad he's still alive, he really does. And he's sure Wemmbu felt the same way. He just wished he didn't do what he has done to make the boy to move out of school. He saw the dejected look Wemmbu wore that day.

Jaden.

He knows he gone too far that day.

Jaden.

He still don't really understand why and how he and Wemmbu end up on good terms.

Earth to Jaden!

Jaden snaps back and looked away from the paper sunflowers to look at Yungy's pure white eyes. "Bro! You good?" His eyebrows were furrowed with concern due to how long Jaden responded. Jaden gave Yungy a shaky and quick nod as he look at Wemmbu that's standing in front of him.

Wemmbu gave him a soft smile.

Jaden froze. Don't know how to respond.

Before he smiles back at Wemmbu.

The purple haired boy pats him on the shoulder as Yungy then moves out of the way so Wemmbu could walked out and close the door behind Jaden. "It's all good. He said to forgive and forget" he swing his arm over Jaden's shoulder.

Jaden let out a, "Yeah." before bringing an arm over Wemmbu's shoulder.

Click!

Wemmbu and Jaden saw a flash and the sound of a camera shutter coming from behind them. They both turns around in sync to see Yungy with his phone up and camera directed towards them. "My bad." He sheepishly said as he slowly puts down his phone.^[1]

Wemmbu slowly lets go of Jaden shoulder which he follows after, letting his arm go limp before Wemmbu goes after Yungy,

"Yo—! Chill!"

"Wemmbu, I told Codmaster about our hangout and he wants to join."

Wemmbu glanced over to Yungy, "I mean, sure, I guess." He said with his chin on his palm as he sat at the kitchen counter, scrolling at his phone, giving updates to his dad. After his answer he could hear Yungy letting out an excited yes.. as he taps on his phone.

"Awh, he look so cute!"

"Is that really Wemmbu?"

Wemmbu perked up at the commotion behind him. He turn his body around to see Egg and Jaden looking at his childhood pictures. Wemmbu's face instantly turns into a different shade, "Yo! What are you guys doing?" He spoke with an annoyed face and voice as he gets up from the stool.

The white haired boy with a face of gleefulness looks up at him as he shows him a picture of him and his little brother when they were littles in a photo frame, standing side by side, posing, as fireworks explode in the dark starry sky behind them.

"Give me that." Wemmbu snatched the framed picture from Egg's hand as the said boy giggles, which follows Jaden's chuckles. Wemmbu put it back on its supposed place with gentle hands.

"Food?!" Eggchan exclaimed as he opens the door with excitement just to be greeted with a brown haired boy he met from just today at school. "Oh, it's just you. Wait— how'd you even know where Wemmbu lives?"

Codmaster nudge his head in as he sees Yungy, "From that guy just right over there..." He points at the spider hat wearing boy as he simply waves at him.

"Come in, come in.. don't make a mess." Wemmbu annouced from behind Eggchan, "Sweet! Thanks!" As soon as Cod walks in he was agaped on how nice the apartment is.

"You live like this?!"

The purple haired boy only rolls his eyes.

After finally getting their food the now— five boys decide to challenge of the two,

"Alright, Codmaster, I'll bet 20 bucks if you beat me on this fishing game."

"I'll bet 50 bucks!"

"50?!" The other three said in unison.

"You guys are doing too much.." Wemmbu said.

Eggchan leans into Wemmbu, "These things get serious, you don't get it." Which earned him a look from Wemmbu as Egg pulls away to put on the game on the TV.

A few minutes into the gameplay, "Oh, shoot!" Yungy yelled out as he watches the screen, seeing Codmaster's character losing to Eggchan's, "Dude, your fishing skills sucks!"

"Shut the fuck up, Yungy!"

Yungy then nudged Wemmbu's side with his elbow, "Who do you think will win?" He said with a grin, Wemmbu watched Codmaster and Eggchan bickering at each other as they plays agressively to a fishing game.

"Gotta be Eggchan." Wemmbu nonchalantly answered.

Yungy scoffed, "Of course you would think so. Well— it's fair, in this situation since Codmaster is actually losing right now."

After Yungy said that the side of Codmaster's screen goes red with big giant text said; "LOSER" while Egg's side is bright green and a big giant text said; "WINNER"

Egg cheers with his arms up before looking back at Codmaster and made a hand grabby motion, "Give me the 50 bucks you promised!"

"I'll do that tomorrow! I didn't bring any money right now.." Codmaster uttered with a dejected posture and expression. "Alright, bro, I'll keep that in mind. Tomorrow. You promised." Eggchan smirks at him full with pride.

Yungy then snatched the remote, "Anyways, movie time! I've been waiting for this!" He quickly puts on a movie that he has planned on watching together with the others. "Everyone get cozy like— right now!"

Wemmbu gets on the couch, Jaden sat on his left, Eggchan on his right, Yungy is next to Jaden meanwhile Codmaster is on the floor with a carpet with food infront of him.

As the movie continues playing, Wemmbu looks around at everyone. He noticed Eggchan eyes slowly closing and leaning closer and closer next to him, Codmaster is alreadly asleep. Jaden seem to be about to fall asleep and Yungy is very much awake and focused on the movie.

Everything was quiet.

Everything is quiet.

At peace.

No loud noises.

Nothing.

Just him and his new found friends.

It's great.

Amazing actually.

He wants it to stay this way.

He can't help but put on a satisfied smile on his face.

Eggchan is his best friend, ever since he was little, sticked with him until now. He hopes it stays this way until the end.

Jaden was his supposed enemy before they became on good terms after a year since Rejoice left Unstable High, and he ended up being a great friend to him.

Yungy, he doesn't really know. But he thinks he's pretty funny and is a bit.. gullible? He saw how he was when it comes to Arachn1d. Loyal and very trusting. He felt a little bad for him.

Codmaster just got here.

Wemmbu then slowly inhale and exhale as he closed his eyes.

"I think I'm cooked, bro." Yungy stated with a panic in his voice as he dread over his final exams. Jaden put an arm over his shoulder to comfort him, "You're good, bro, I'm positive we passed."

Wemmbu, Eggchan and Codmaster watches Yungy from behind as he goes first to check on his grades and see if he passed. His hands can be seen visibly shaked as he hover the mouse.

After going to the new page Yungy instantly jumps up from his seat before hugging everyone and cheering from happiness, "Yeah! I passed! Fuck yeah!" Everyone can't help but smiles at the boy being completely overjoyed.

Yungy then grabbed both of Wemmbu's shoulders and pushed him into the seat, "You next, you next!" He's grinning as Wemmbu logs into his school profile. Even though he's optimistic that he passes this, he can't help but chews his bottom lip and tap his feet to the floor.

Everyone's eyes skips bunch of words after the website moved into a new page to search for the word Passed. Wemmbu breathe out to calm his nerve after finding out that he did too, but that was cut short as Yungy starts screaming again and hugs him from behind his seat.

As his friends were congratulating him, his phone rings and shows his little brother's profile, he immediately reached for his phone and picked up the phone, "What's up, Spoke?"

"Wemmbu! I'm moving up-up to the next grade with my friends!" Spoke has a ecstatic expression on his face as he then moved the camera far away to show his other friends, ones that he's pretty much familiar with, he then brought it close to his face again, "Did you pass too?"

Wemmbu can't help but smiles at his little brother, "Of course, bro, you think I'm dumb?"

"Maybe—"

"Dalright. Don't forget who teached you to be ready for the final exams."

Spoke turns sheepish with his smile, "Hehe, thank you, Wem! You're the best!" He declared and Wemmbu felt like wanting to start hugging and showering Spoke with all his affections.

"It's nothing." No, it's not. He wants to run up to Spoke right now.

Spoke giggles as if he saw right through him before waving frantically at the camera, "Bye, Wemmbu! Pick me up soon!" Wemmbu waved back before he hung up the call.

After the others make their turns and seeing that all of them passed, Yungy suggested on taking a group photo.

"Come on, guys! On one, two, three, Purge Squad!"

"Why is our name Purge Squad?"

"I just thought it sounds sick."

"... Fair enough."

"Look back at the camera!"

They hear the camera shutters, after making sure he got the pictures he wanted, everyone instantly get close to Yungy to look at his phone to see the result of the pictures and throws in some comments about the others as they point each others out in the pictures, the room was quickly filled in with laughs from the five teenaged boys.
