The Final Battle…
The battle that would end all battles…
It felt like ages ago…
After Morro became the Platinum Ninja…
He defeated the Overlord…
Much of Ninjago City was in ruin…
It was a time to reflect on Ninjago's past and rebuild it's future…
Ninjago City became New Ninjago City…
And it became the center of great technological advancements…
But still…
Even though that Ninjago rebuilt itself from the Overlord's destruction…
The Ninjas knew one thing…
And that thing was that evil never slept…
The Ninjas knew that trouble would lurk…
But it was rare…
Especially since that they have defeated the three enemies they have faced…
First were the Serpentine, who were once the Ninjas' enemies who worshipped the slayed Great Devourer, and are now their allies…
Whenever they encountered the Serpentine, it was only a way of training…
Second was Lord Wu, the Master of Creation and Morro's father…
After being freed from the Great Devourer's venomous influence, he has lived a life of tranquility…
And third was the most important one…
The Overlord…
The enemy to the First Spinjitzu Master…
The Overlord that made the Great Devourer…
The same Great Devourer that bit Lord Wu…
The same Great Devourer that the Serpentine once worshipped…
The same Great Devourer that was released…
The same Great Devourer that Wu slayed…
That was what the Overlord made…
The Overlord that planned to cross into the world of Ninjago…
By tricking Lord Wu into altering the balance…
Only for the Overlord to be defeated by Morro…
Who became the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master…
The Platinum Ninja…
And after the Overlord's defeat…
Lord Wu was no longer the Lord that the Ninjas knew…
He was now purified…
Freed from the Venom's influence…
Things began to look peaceful…
But still, the Ninjas knew one thing…
That without an enemy to fight…
The Ninjas felt like that they weren't needed anymore…

…
…
…but that would all change, real soon.
Currently, the Ninjas were now teachers at a school known as 'Garmadon's Academy', after the Master of Destruction bought a building near Ninjago High School.
Nya was in a brown tuxedo witha red tie, to which Jay found adorable and fitting for her.
Jay had a blue sweater with a light blue zigzag on it.
Cole had an equally brown suit to match Nya's, except it was more formal.
And Zane wore a light blue vest with snowflakes.
And they have gotten used to being teachers.
The students that they were teaching, were the former students of Darkley's by Lloyd's suggestion…
…who were of course, like the Master of Wind himself, weren't allowed to talk about Darkley's.
And currently, after one of the students, one particular Brad Tudabone discovered an 'Ultra Remote' and caused Zane to go onto the fritz, which Cole thankfully saving the Master of Ice. The Ninjas gathered in the Teacher's Lounge at Recess.
A perfect way to relax after having to deal with children.
“Ok, who took my pudding cup?” Jay asked as he opened the fridge. “My name was clearly written on it.”
“I didn't see 'Motor Mouth' on it.” Cole chuckled.
“I'm telling the headmaster.” The Master of Lightning scoffed.
“Leave Garmadon alone for now.” A voice said.
Everyone turned to see that it was Isaac Julien.
“He's with Lloyd, so I'm substituting.” The former Master of Ice explained. After that, he left.
“Here, you can have some of mine.” Nya said as she handed the Blue Ninja a pudding cup.
“NYA!” Kai shouted.
“I know Kai, boundaries.” She brushed off as she handed Jay her pudding, much to the Honorary Ninja's annoyance.
“Ok… I know that being teachers is nice and all… but… but honestly I feel it's a bit… I don't know… boring?” Jay spoke as he ate the pudding.
“What do you mean by that, Jay?” The Nindroid asked with interest.
“Well… think about it.” The Blue Ninja responded. “Morro gets to be the Platinum Ninja and fly around accepting awards while we're stuck here being teachers with no powers.” He explained.
“What about Lloyd? He still has his powers of Wind.” Kai pointed out.
“Yeah, but he didn't use a Golden Weapon unlike us!” Jay recalled. “I miss being a Ninja.” He sighed. “I mean, don't get me wrong… it's nice that the Serpentine are no longer a threat to us, the Great Devourer's gone, Lord Wu's no longer evil, and the Overlord's defeated. But it would be nice to actually fight something that's a massive threat to Ninjago rather than just training for whatever will come to us!”
“Well… Sensei did say that we'll have to face off against another threat that comes.” Cole recalled. “So maybe we might get a chance.”
Just then, the Ninjas heard a phone calling, and Kai picked it up.
“Hello?” The Honorary Ninja said. “Ok, I'll let them know.”
After that, Kai hanged up the phone.
“Who was it, Kai?” Nya asked.
“It was Lloyd, he said that he wants us.” Kai explained.
That caused the Ninjas' eyes to widened.
“Is there trouble?” The Red Ninja asked.
“Is someone in danger?” The Black Ninja asked.
“Is it an emergency?” The White Ninja asked.
“Is it a new threat? Please tell me that the new threat is Lar Cathan!” The Blue Ninja begged.
Everyone slowly turned to the Master of Lightning.
“What?” Jay asked. “Lloyd possibly called us due to Lar being creepy around his mom.” He explained. “He's most likely a threat!”
“Well… actually… Lloyd said that Sensei got us clearance for a field trip.” Kai explained, much to the Ninjas' frustration.
No sign of trouble.
“Seriously?” Jay complained.
“But it's no ordinary field trip.” Kai added. “It's to Borg Industries.”
This immediately caused the Blue Ninja to gasp.
“As in home to super genius reclusive savant Cyrus Borg? Inventor of the hover car and everything else cool in this world?” He asked with surprise.
“He's just a genius, Jay.” Kai said. “Besides, people should concern themselves with the lessons of the past. Not waste their time on the disposable fads of tomorrow when—”
“Save the moral of the story for later!” Jay interrupted. “Start the bus! Let's go!”
And with that, the Ninjas ran to get the students, much to Kai's frustration.
“Honestly… why am I getting the feeling that none of the Ninjas are listening?” He muttered as he followed the Ninjas.

As the students got into the bus…
Everyone was excited for the Field Trip.
And to pass the time, a few of the students asked some questions.
“Um… Mr. Cole? Why can't we take the Ultra Dragon or Ultra Sonic Raider?” Brad asked.
“Well we don't have them right now. But that doesn't mean it won't be boring!” Cole answered.
The students just stared.
“I told you that Mr. Cole was the worst.” A student whispered.
“HEY!!!” The Black Ninja shouted, much to the amusement of the other Ninjas.
Although heading back to Ninjago City was a bit unexpected.
“So we really are going back to the city?” Jay asked. “We haven't been there since the Overlord.”
“We only have today. Or else this offer expires.” Nya answered. “Or as Sensei would probably say, 'Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come.'.”
And with that, the bus drove off.

As everyone made it to Ninjago City…
And they saw how different it was…
For starters, it was now called 'New Ninjago City'. With the tagline being 'The future is what we make it.'.
So that was a start.
Then came the atmosphere…
Neon lights shined on the streets…
Hi-tech vehicles were driving by…
Everyone saw how different it was…
“Wow.” Kai commented as he looked around. “You leave town a short while and—”
*CRASH!*
But before he could finish, the bus immediately crashed into a mail van.
“Watch where you're driving!” The Postman shouted at the Ninjas. “Get with the program, already! Who here still uses wheels anymore?”
“Don't worry, we'll free you up.” Cole reassured as he got out of the bus, and lifted the van, and placed it down, freeing the Postman.
Which caught the eyes of someone.
“Excuse me… Lord Cole?” An androgynous voice asked.
“Yeah, can I—”
But before Cole could finish, he and the others widened their eyes at who they saw…
A familiar looking armor that was blue, white, and silver…

…
…completely moving…

…
…
…and the Ninjas knew what it was.
It was Lloyd's old Samurai X armor.
“Um… uh—”
“Forgive me for startling you five.” The uh… Armor apologized. “I didn't mean to.”
The Ninjas just stared.
“Um… I'm sorry, but is it just me… or is Lloyd's old Samurai X Armor speaking to us?” Jay asked.
“I am indeed speaking to you.” The Armor explained. “For I, Samurai X, is now a Nindroid, designed to look like an Exo Suit.”
“An Exo Suit?” Kai questioned with a raised eyebrow. “For real?”
“For very real.” Another voice said, this time it was someone that the Ninjas remembered.
“Why hello Sensei—”
But before Zane could greet, he and the Ninjas gasped at another sight.
It was Sensei Garmadon, the Master of Destruction.
And Lloyd Garmadon, the Master of Wind.
And the latter… looked a bit different.
The Green Ninja was taller, and his hair was similar to that of the Ninjas' Sensei. Even the children were stunned.
It was… surprising.
“Um… Lloyd?” Nya asked. “What happened?”
“What do you mean?” Lloyd asked.
“Lloyd, look at yourself!” Kai answered. “You've gotten taller!”
“Yeah, you look like you went through puberty!” Jay said.
“That's because I did.” Lloyd answered. “My body changed when I turned 13 last year… and it was weird.”
“It was quite a shock, even for me.” Sensei Garmadon chuckled. “But I handled it very well.”
This caused Lloyd to give a pained smile to his father.
“Did you really, Dad?” The Master of Wind asked. “Because I don't know if you did after hearing what Ms. Gossip reported.”
“What do you mean by that, Lloyd?” The Master of Lightning asked.
“Well…”

What Lloyd was talking about…
Sensei Garmadon parked a car in front of the NGTV Building.
“Dad, please don't do this!” Lloyd begged as he and his father got out of the car. “You're going to hurt Ms. Gossip!”
“I just want to talk to her.” Garmadon said as he loaded a shotgun.
“Wh… why do you have a shotgun?” Lloyd asked with fear.
“I just want to talk to her.” The Master of Destruction answered as he and the Master of Wind went to the building.
“Dad, this is riduclous!”
“I just want to talk to her.”
“Put that gun away!”
“I just want to talk to her.”
“What are you doing?”
“I just want to talk to her.”
“It's not her fault, it was an accident!”
“I just want to shoot her.”
“You can't shoot her!”
And when they went inside the building.
“Hel—OH DEAR SWEET FIRST SPINJITZU WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?”

“After that, we were lucky that Ms. Gossip didn't press charges for the way Dad reacted.” Lloyd casually explained.
Everyone shot weird looks at the Master of Destruction, who was a bit embarrassed.
“To be fair… she made a comment that made me worried for Lloyd's safety around some fangirls…” Sensei Garmadon explained. “But enough of that, as you can see… Lloyd sent his Samurai X Armor to Borg Industries, transforming it into a Nindroid.”
“Why and how did that happen?” Kai asked.
“Borg Industries was in need of something to make 'Project: Tsukumogami' a success.” Garmadon explained.
“Correct, Lord Garmadon.” Samurai X said with a bow.
The Master of Destruction smiled at such a noble title… it almost felt… fitting for him for some reason.
“Anyways, can we head inside to Borg Industries?” Nya said. “We got a field trip to promise.”
“That we will, Lady Nya.” Samurai X responded. “Follow me, we aren't that far from it.” They said as they pointed to a very large and tall building that was labeled 'Borg Industries'.
Jay nearly fainted at the sight, but was saved by the Red Ninja, as everyone went inside.

Inside the building…
Everyone saw how the entrance looked.
Neon lights were on the floor that made the building brighter.
Holographic maps to guide those in need.
Automatic doors that Kai struggled to get in…
…that last one made him slightly annoyed.
But still, it didn't matter.
The Ninjas were at Borg Industries.
“Welcome to Borg Industries.” A female voice said.
Everyone turned to see a robot in a purple dress with silver skin and silver hair in the shape of a ponytail, with bright green eyes and purple robotic markings on her face.
“I'm Pixal, Cyrus' Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form.” The Nindroid greeted. “I'm sorry to hear about the traffic accident.” She apologized.
“Looks like news travels fast.” Cole whispered.
“Everything in New Ninjago City is fully automated and interconnected. Your antiquated bus should be ready shortly.” Pixal stated. She then got a good look at Zane.
The Master of Ice got a good look at her as well.
“You are Zane, a droid like me.” Pixal recalled. “What does Zane stand for?”
“I stand for peace, freedom, and courage in the face of all who threaten Ninjago.” The White Ninja answered.
“Um… she means your name, Zane.” Jay pointed out.
“Oh…” Zane responded with embarrassment. “Well… I guess I'm just Zane.” He answered.
“Permission to scan?” Pixal asked, which caused the White Ninja to give an odd look.
“Um… permission granted.” Zane responded with his cheeks blushing.
“Ooh… looks like someone's got an admirer.” The Blue Ninja joked, which caused Nya to giggle.
And after scanning Zane. Pixal noticed a few things.
“I find it unique that you are made out of Titanium, which clearly shows based on your metallic skin.” She stated. “Yet, your hardware is outdated and your processor is slow and incompatible with ours.” Pixal added. “All droids must recharge our batteries, yet curiously. I'm unable to locate your energy source. What powers you?” She asked.
“Well… I don't know.” Zane answered with a flustering tone.
“Either way… Mr. Borg would like to see the Ninjas on the 100th floor. You may the join the others on the tour if you want to.” She said as everyone followed the female droid, as Kai ran to catch up to the others…
…well, mostly everyone.
“Lord Zane?” Samurai X called.
This caused the White Ninja to snap back into reality, and ran to the other Ninjas who were in an elevator.
“BLACK NINJA, RED NINJA, BLUE NINJA, GREEN NINJA, WHITE NINJA.” The elevator's voice scanned. “PLATINUM NINJA NOT IDENTIFIED. WAIT FOR ACTION.”
This caused Lloyd to shot a weird look at the elevator.
“Lloyd? You good?” Nya asked with worry.
“Oh yeah, I'm good.” Lloyd responded. “Just thought I sensed something bad.”

Later…
Everyone was brought into a room fileld with a bunch technologically advanced inventions.
From futuritstic-looking cars.
To a bunch of VR games.
To large screens that depicted future inventions.
It was no wonder the Ninjas were brought in.
“Mr. Borg believes technology is the key to making our dreams come true.” Pixal stated as everyone looked around.
“You mean I get to be a Ninja with this?” Kai asked as he picked up a VR Helmet.
“Of course, Lord Kai.” Samurai X stated.
“Woah…” the Honorary Ninja responded. “Is it really true?” He asked as he turned to Pixal.
“Exactly, Mr. Borg is working on a Digiverse where the gamer will be digitally scanned in to take gaming to another level.” Pixal answered.
That's when one of the students caught her eyes onto something.
“Ms. Nya, look!” A female student with long red hair said as she pointed at an invention.
“What is it, Sally?” The Red Ninja asked as she came across a pink and purple console that was adorned with hearts.
“It's a Perfect Match Console!” Sally said as she and three other students ran to it. “It finds your perfect partner with flawless results.” She explained. “You should try it, Ms. Nya!”
“I doubt that it could easily find someone's partner.” Nya commented. “But I'll give it a go.” She said as she stepped onto a heart shaped platform that was connected to the console.
That's when she heard it speak.
“Hello, Nya. You are an independent, self-confident young woman who refuses to be in a boys' club.” The Perfect Match Console stated which caused Nya to smile. “Analyzing match now.”
And the moment the heart-shaped lights were lit up.
Everyone wondered what Nya's romantic partner would be.
“I hope it's Mr. Jay!” A female student with black hair wished.
“So do I!” A female student with orange hair added.
“I wonder if Nya's partner is a girl?” Sally wondered.
And the answer?
Well… it was someone surprising…

…it was Cole.
Everyone gasped.
The Master of Fire's match… was the Master of Earth?
Everyone was stunned.
Nya had to process everything.
Fortunately, she knew what to do…

“What was that?” Cole asked as he heard the loud breaking noise.
“Nothing!” Nya said as she carefully hid a sledge hammer back in her pocket, as she and the students walked away from the damaged Perfect Match Console, and and ran back to the Ninjas.
She wasn't going to fall for Cole that easily, it was ridiculous.
She never saw Cole as her partner. Sure, they were great team members, but Nya was sure that she wouldn't fall for someone like him.
Besides, what did they have in common?
Nothing, to be exact!
And after thinking about that, some shipper far from the Ninjas immediately felt that they were insulted.
After that, she and the Ninjas went to the 100th Floor.

On the 100th Floor…
The Ninjas were greeted by a man with black hair and glasses.
“I would've guessed Ninjas to sneak in a window, not use the elevator.” The man chuckled.
Jay was immediately starstruck.
“Oh, First Spinjitzu Master.” The Blue Ninja said. “Are you—”
“Cyrus Borg?” The man guessed. “Yes. Unfortunately, when my parents gave me a name like that, my future in technology was predetermined.” He joked as he controlled a robotic spider-like seat to the Ninjas.
“Woah… that's a really cool looking thing you built, Mr. Borg!” Lloyd complimented.
“Why thank you, it helps me get around places.” Cyrus responded.
“My father would've loved to meet you, but he's currently substituting for our Sensei.” Zane stated. “It's a shame that he can't see you today.”
“Today maybe, but not tomorrow.” Cyrus reassured. “Technology making the impossible possible. The only limit to our potential is that which we don't dream.”
That's when Lloyd started to look around.
“Mr. Borg? Isn't this the same place the Overlord was destroyed?” The Green Ninja stated. “Who dreamed up the idea of building a corporate headquarters here?”
“Ah, I see you have noticed.” Cyrus responded. “What better way to send a message to evil that we won't cower to anyone.” He explained. “Which also reminds me… where's the Platinum Ninja?”
“Morro's hands are a bit full, but we can tell him to stop by when we see him.” Cole said.
“No, no, no. I'm glad it's just you five.” Cyrus responded. “I wanted to give you a gift.” He said as he controlled his mech to something that was covered in a green cloth.
“Ooh! Is it cake?” Cole asked.
And when the Black Ninja asked that, the Ninjas saw that Cyrus revealed a Platinum Statue of himself, sitting in his mech.
“Oh… it's a statue… of yourself.” Nya muttered in a confused tone.
“Yeah… it's not even a cake with your face on it.” Cole added.
“Well I like it.” Lloyd commented.
“Yeah! It's a statue of Cyrus Borg!” Jay added.
“Why thank you.” Cyrus responded.
“But… why is it a gift?” Zane asked.
That's when Cyrus used his mech to get to the Nindroid.
“I want you to protect them with your life. All of Ninjago depends on it.” He whispered to the White Ninja.
“Protect? What do you mean by that?” Zane asked.
“Lloyd does make a good point.” Cyrus muttered. “I should never have built here. You and the Ninjas must go. It's listening.”
After that, Cyrus used his mech back to his desk.
“I'm sorry to cut this short, but there's things to invent. I hope you can show yourselves out.” The man said.
“We will, thanks for the statue Mr. Borg!” Lloys said as he used his wind to lift the statue off of the ground and into the other three Ninjas' hands.
“Zane, a little help!” Cole shouted.
“Coming!” Zane said as he joined in.
However… whatever Mr. Borg told him…
…it was suspicious.
And Lloyd caught wind of that.
“Zane? Is everything ok?” He asked.
“I'm afraid not.” The White Ninja replied. “Cyrus Borg was acting suspicious.”
“Suspicious, how?” Jay questioned with worry.
“Like he was scared. He said we had to protect something known as 'them' with our lives.” Zane explained.
“What do you mean by—”
*CRASH!*
But as the elevator's doors slammed shut, the Ninjas dropped the statue, breaking it.
“NO!” Jay wailed at the broken statue.
“Wait a minute… this statue's hollow.” Lloyd said as he looked carefully. “And… there's new clothes for us to wear.” He said as he picked up a green gi. He then turned to Zane. “You said that Mr. Borg wanted us to protect this statue, right?”
“I did, why?” The White Ninja responded.
“I think you're onto something.” Lloyd explained. “Because I sensed something odd too.”
“What is it?” Jay asked.
“When we got into the elevator, the elevator scanned us and said that we were all present… except for Morro.” The Master of Wind explained.
“Why would the elevator do that?” Cole asked.
“I don't know, but it might be why Mr. Borg wanted us to protect this statue, and why it's filled with these Ninja gis.”
“Speaking of which, what are these?” Nya asked as she picked up two silver blades.
Suddenly, an alarm was heard, and a voice spoke.
“TECHNO BLADES LOCATED. APPREHEND. WILL THE ASSAILANTS PLEASE STAND DOWN AND DROP THE TECHNO BLADES?” The Elevator stated.
“Hey! We're not Assailtants! I'm only 14 years old!” Lloyd shouted as Zane tried to push a button on an elevator.
“I can't get the elevator to take us down!” Zane said.
“WILL THE ASSAILANTS PLEASE STAND DOWN AND DROP THE TECHNO BLADES?” The elevator asked again.
“Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking?” Nya asked.
“That these things are Techno Blades?” Jay asked.
“Exactly, that must be why Mr. Borg wanted us to protect these!” Nya answered.
Suddenly, the Elevator immediately lowered down, causing the Ninjas to land onto the ceiling.
“We have to get off this thing!” Lloyd shouted as they were going down with the elevator.
That's when Nya got a good look at one of the technoblades in her hand.
“Going up!” The Red Ninja said as she hopped down onto the floor, and slammed the elevator's ceiling wide open.
This is turn, gave Lloyd an idea.
“Anyone up for some Spinjitzu?” The Green Ninja asked with interest.
“Finally!” Jay responded.
“NINJA… GO!!!”
And with that, four tornadoes of Earth, Ice, Lightning, and Wind spun out of the elevator.
After that, the Ninjas landed onto an ascending elevator.
“Woah… that was… that was way too dangerous for me.” Lloyd said as he handed the Ninjas their new uniforms.
“Yeah, looks like we just quit our day jobs.” Cole said.
“More importantly, WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE FIRST SPINJITZU MASTER WAS THAT!?” Jay exclaimed.
“I'm afraid it's danger.” A voice said.
The Ninjas turned to see Samurai X, who had built in boosters that allowed them to fly.
“Samurai X!” The Ninjas shouted in unison.
“What did you mean by danger?” Zane asked.
“I've carefully scanned the premises and I fear that something is causing a disturbance.” Samurai X responded.
“A 'disturbance'? What do you mean by—”
But before Jay could finish, his jaw dropped.
“Oh no… our students!” He exclaimed. “We have to save them!”
“Samurai X, where's the tour heading to now?” Lloyd asked.
“They are heading to where vehicles are being built.” Samurai X stated.
“Take me to them.” The Master of Wind ordered.
“Yes Lord Lloyd.” Samurai X said as they and Lloyd hopped off of the elevator and made their way to the save the Students.
“We'll meet you when we can!” Nya said.

Speaking of which…
The tour went into a factory, where a bunch of cars were being built.
“And this factory line where—”
But before Pixal could finish, she immediately felt a sudden change as an alarm started to blare and her eyes immediately turned red.
That is when every machine turned to the tour-goers.
“This is will be the end of your tour.” Pixal stated.
Garmadon wasn't going to let that happen.
He fought hard against Pixal, and Kai tried his best to keep the students safe.
“Stay back and stay together.” Kai ordered, as kicked a machine off to the side.
That's when a buzzsaw was coming in.
But thankfully it was saved by two certain someones.
“DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT LAYING A HAND ON THESE KIDS!” The Master of Wind shouted.
Everyone turned to the Green Ninja.
The bottom half of his face was covered, and his new Ninja uniform looked a bit more technically advanced.
“Lloyd! Samurai X!” Kai shouted. “You came to help us!”
“We need to evacuate the premises at once.” Samurai X stated.
“This way! There's a way out!” One of the students said as he pointed to a window that was in the distance. After that, they ran to their potential way of escaping.
“No! Do not break formation!” Kai shouted. “Why don't students ever listen to me.” He grumbled.
“Because we need to save them!” Lloyd responded as he shot a gust of onto one of the machines that was going to attack.
“I do hope that the other Ninjas try to stop whatever's going on here!” Sensei Garmadon said as he tried to hold every machine off.
“I'll get the Ninjas…” Samurai X said as he flew off.

Meanwhile with the Ninjas…
They hopped out of an elevator with their new uniforms, and each of them are armed with a different Techno Blade.
Nya's Techno Blade looked like an axe.
Jay's Techno Blade looked like a chainsaw.
Cole's Techno Blade looked like a whip.
And Zane's Techno Blade looked like a staff.
“I gotta say it. I love the new threads.” Jay commented as he looked at the threads.
“Not only that, but the pig with the crown on the bottom of the handles of these blades make them look legendary!” Cole added.
That's when three robots approached the Ninjas.

“Um… does anyone know how these things work?” The Red Ninja asked.
Suddenly the three robots approached the Ninjas. All of whom, quickly dodged.
“Let me try.” Zane said as he looked at a pipe.
But as Zane swung it, the pipe didn't fall.
“It appears that these Techno Blades aren't sharp.” The White Ninja said.
“Then why are they even called Techno Blades in the first place?” Nya asked.
“LORD ZANE, LOOK OUT!!!” A voice shouted.
The Ninjas turned to see Samurai X hovering as they pointed to another robot.
The robot shot a laser that all of the Ninjas dodged…
…as it struck a window, causing it to crack open, sucking the Ninjas in to the city and out of the building.
“I'll save you!” Samurai X said as they shot a net to rescue the Ninjas, and wiped out the robots.
After that, the Ninjas got back into the building.
“Thanks for saving us, Samurai X.” Jay thanked.
“No worries, Lord Jay.” Samurai X responded.
“Are our students, ok?” Cole asked with worry.
“They are for now, Lord Cole.” Samurai X responded. “But I'm afraid not for long.”
“Samurai X, is it possible to check on Mr. Borg?” Zane asked. “He's on the 100th Floor, and said that he wanted us to protect these blades for a reason.”
“As you wish, Lord Zane.” Samurai X responded. “I'll locate him to see if he's there.”
And with that, Samurai X took off.

Later…
Samurai X managed to find Cyrus Borg…
…who was forced to have a chat with someone… unfriendly.
And the Exo-Suit Droid took notice of the voice coming from a computer screen, that had a white stylized image of an 8-headed snake over a dark purple cloudy background.
“You fool. You tried to give them the only thing that could defeat me and my creator! You thought I wouldn't notice?” The computer screen asked as it constantly shifted monitors. “I'd get rid of you if I didn't still need you. Don't think to ever betray us again.”
“I won't! I promise!” Cyrus responded.
“A promise isn't good enough.” The computer screen responded as it gained control Cyrus' robotic legs as two robotic arms grabbed the inventor.
And despite the desperate pleas of Cyrus, he had robotic armor forced on him…
Samurai X saw that whatever was on the computer screen was probably one thing…

…a virus.
Samurai X silently took a photo of the symbol on one of the screens, and took off.

Back with the Ninjas…
“And that's when Borg said it was listening.” Zane ended, retelling what Cyrus told the the Master of Ice.
“Well whatever it is… it sounds bad.” Jay commented. “What if it's the Overlord?” He wondered.
“It can't be! We all saw Morro defeat him.” Cole recalled.
“I have to agree with Cole.” Nya replied. “There's no way that the Overlord can come back after the atrocities he did.”
“Yeah, the Overlord created the Great Devourer, used Lord Wu to unleash the Stone Army, and got Kai and Lar kidnapped, and made the latter of the two evil with Spinjitzu!” Jay stated.
“But if it's true about the Overlord coming back, is it possible that he'll return?” Zane wondered.
That's when the Ninjas met face-to-face with a hover-copter.
“I don't know, but is it possible that we'll survive?” Jay with fear.
That's when Zane had an idea.
“Cole, throw me!” The White Ninja ordered.
“Um, why?” The Black Ninja asked.
“Throw me!” The Nindroid ordered.
After that, Cole threw Zane onto the hover-copter.
The White Ninja struggled to gain control, but as he got onto the top.
Zane pulled out his Techno Blade, causing to alter the Hover-Copter's appearance.
“No way…” Jay commented. “Zane managed to use his Techno Blade!” He stated.
“He must've hacked the hover-copter's system!” Cole pointed out.

Back with tour…
They had to get out.
“Follow my lead everybody!” Kai ordered. “RUN!”
Everyone followed the Honorary Ninja as hopped onto a conveyor belt.
“JUMP!” Kai shouted as laser was about to be shot.
Everyone jumped to dodge the laser.
“LLOYD!” Kai shouted.
“On it!” The Green Ninja said as he shot a gust of wind onto a mechanical arm.
Similarly, Sensei Garmadon used his power of destruction onto a mechanical arm as well.
That's when he turned an escalator.
“Everyone get to the window!” The Master of Destruction said as he pointed to the window.
But as everyone reached to the top.
“Uh… Dad?” Lloyd asked as he pointed to an incinerator. “How do we stop this belt!?”
“With our help!” Four voices shouted.
Everyone turned to see the Ninjas in the Hover-Copter, as they blasted the switch to the incinerator, causing everything to stop.
After that, the Hover-Copter landed with an aerial work platform, as everyone got into the platform.
“We need to get everyone to the bus!” Nya ordered as everyone got onto the platform. “I have an idea!”
“Tell us when we leave this place!” Kai responded.
But as Kai was about to leave. Pixal grabbed him.
“This will be the end of your tour.” The Droid threatened.
Which resulted in her to be met with a gust of wind.
“Hurry Zane! Step on it!” Kai shouted. “We have to go, Pixal's one of them!”
After that, the White Ninja took off.
As everyone fled from the building…

Later…
Kai, Lloyd, and Samurai X got onto the bus.
“Get to the academy as fast as you can, you three. We need the Platinum Ninja.” Nya explained.
“What about you guys?” Lloyd asked.
“We must protect the people.” Sensei Garmadon explained.
“Lord Garmadon is correct, because look.” Samurai X said as they pointed to the chaos going around in New Ninjago City.
A traffic light switching from red to green.
A taxi was spinning out of control.
And a machine painted a picture of the Ninja by using AI.
Suddenly, a robot tried to tip the school bus over.
“Not on my watch!” Cole shouted as he performed Spinjitzu to reach to the robot, and pulled the wires out of the robot, causing it to fall.
Resulting in the students to cheer.
“Mr. Cole is the best!” One of the students cheered.
After that, the bus drove off.
“So this is why Cyrus Borg wanted us to guard these Techno Blades.” Nya said as she looked at hers. “They can hack into any system.”
“Ooh, are you saying we start attacking through some hacking?” Jay wondered.
“I don't know what had happened, by I trust you four to do so.” Garmadon responded. “I have a plan.”
“What is it Sensei?” Zane asked.
“Zane, Nya, you take to the skies.” The Master of Destruction ordered.
“On it!” The Masters of Ice and Fire responded.
“Cole, Jay, you are on the ground.” The Master of Destruction ordered once more.
“Got it!” The Masters of Earth and Lightning responded.
“I'll do what I can for the people.” The Master of Destruction stated.
“Then what are we waiting for! We got to save New Ninjago City!” Jay stated.
And so, the Ninjas knew what they had to do…
…protect Ninjago, once more.

With Zane and Nya…
The two Ninjas were trying to find the Master of Fire a vehicle for her to hack into.
That's when Nya noticed a jet flying by.
“Oh, I want that.” The Master of Fire said with interest.
She raised her Techno Blade, and it turned to Jet bright red.
“Alright!” Nya said. “Now which button should I press.” She wondered as she controlled her new jet. That is when she pressed one of them, which summoned a hologram of Cyrus Borg.
“So you've figured out how the Techno Blades work.” The hologram stated. “You must know, they are far, far more important than you think.”
“What do you mean by—”
“This is a prerecorded message, but I can tell you that a few weeks ago, we discovered a virus laying dormant in our system.” The hologram interrupted the Master of Fire.
“Oh.” Nya said.
“That virus, is known as Revodrol, and it acts similar to the Overlord.” The hologram stated.
Nya's eyes widened in horror.
A virus that acted similar to the Overlord?
That anagram of a name was definitely a clue to something terrible.
And that is when she noticed that a few jets were following her.
She had to flee and warn the Ninjas.
“You have to get the Techno Blades out of the city. Because once the virus knows you have them, it'll never let you leave. I've also given you new outfits to help block the facial recognition software.” The hologram explained. “Had I known this would happen, I would never have built where the Overlord was destroyed. Goodbye, Ninjas, and good luck.”
And with that, the hologram disappeared.
That's when Nya soon saw that she was being chased by some missiles that were being fired by tanks.
“Jay! Cole! I need help!” Nya shouted.
“On it!” A familiar Blue Ninja responded as he pulled out his Techno Blade, and used it on a tank. Turning it into a blue one. “Cole! Try using your Techno Blade onto one of those security mechs!” Jay shouted.
“Sounds like a great plan!” Cole shouted back as he used his Techno Blade onto a mech.
After that, the two Elemental Masters launched missiles and stomped on some robots, until there was no more.

Meanwhile with Kai, Lloyd, and Samurai X…
The three ran to find Morro back at the academy…
“Morro, we need your help!” Kai shouted as he and Lloyd made it to Morro's office.
“Yeah! New Ninjago City is under attack with—”
But before Lloyd could finish.
Instead of seeing his cousin, the Master of Energy.
He saw the Master of Wood with the former Master of Ice, instead.
“Oh, hi, you three.” The Brown Ninja greeted. “Can you believe it? Me and Dr. Julien were watching my favorite game show with the jujitsu dogs, you know, when bang, the cable just dies on us.” Dareth casually explained.
All what Lloyd could do was shoot a dumbfounded aside glance, while Kai just gave a blank stare, and Samurai X barely reacted to the situation.

Back with the Ninjas…
“Zane! I know why Cyrus wanted us to protect these Techno Blades!” Nya stated. “We have to get them out of the city.” She explained.
“But what about Sensei? We can't leave without him.” Zane reminded.
“I'll pick him up and meet you guys at the intersection of Wilfert and Fleming.” She said as she flew to her destination.

Speaking of which…
The Master of Destruction was helping escape through the sewers.
Garmadon then noticed that he was surrounded by five security mechs as Nya was about to pick him up.
Fortunately, the Sensei had an idea.
As he dodged every attack from the security mechs, and used his power of destruction to send him reach the Red Ninja.
After that, the four Ninjas reunited.
However… things weren't going to be easy.
As every hover-craft.
Every jet.
Every tank.
And every security mech surrounded the Ninjas.
The Ninjas had to hold them off, but they kept bringing reinforcements.
“There's too many! We'll never get out!” Cole shouted.
“Keep fighting. They'll have to run out of batteries at some point.” Nya answered.
“I'm not so sure about that!” Zane responded with worry.
And as the machines were closing in…

…a literal bright flash of hope appeared.
It was Morro, who came back on the Platinum Dragon, as it left a mist of a rainbow of colors.
“Need some help from the Platinum Ninja?” Morro confidently asked. He then got a good look around. “Woah… Robots vs. Ninjas, not what I was expecting, but I'm looking forward to this.” He smirked.
But before everyone could reunite, they were greeted by someone.
Someone that Nya knew it would be.
As everyone turned to face every screen that the saw, they all had an image of a stylized 8-headed snake.
It was Revodrol, the virus.
“So you couldn't help yourself with that snarky line.” Revodrol spoke. “I am Revodrol, and you must be the Platinum Ninja, I assume?”
“I am, and you look like you want to fight.” Morro responded as he pulled out his bo staff.
“Oh, I don't want to fight. I just want your power.” Revodrol replied back with a wicked laugh.
That's when everyone soon noticed that the mist that Morro left behind was being absorbed by machines.
Everyone shot a worried look as they approached the Ninjas.
“Uncle, what can we do?” Morro asked.
“I'm you have to sit this one out, your power will make Revodrol's forces stronger.” Sensei Garmadon explained.
“We have to get you and the Techno Blades out of New Ninjago City.” Nya explained.
“I don't think this virus will let us leave.” Cole added.
“I have an idea, but I don't have much time to explain.” The Master of Destruction stated. “Listen close.”
And as the Ninjas were huddled together, they heard Sensei Garmadon's plan.
So the Ninjas knew what they had to do…
“NINJA… GO!!!”
And with that, everyone got into their vehicles, while Sensei Garmadon ran with the Techno Blades covered in a cloth, while Morro was on the Platinum Dragon, flying away.
“I hope this works.” Nya said.
“At 4.2% chance of success, I'd say our hope is slim.” Zane calculated.
“There's a reason it's called hope!” Jay pointed out.
The plan was simple, they had to leave Ninjago City…
And Revodrol won't let them.
“The Techno Blades, find them!” The virus ordered.
The machines immediately splitted up and followed the Ninjas.
Cole and Jay combined their mech and tank into one and took off.
Zane, Nya, and Morro flew their way out of Ninjago City.
And Garmadon ran away by foot and was hopping from building by building.
That's when one of the computers scanned the Master of Destruction.
“TECHNO BLADES, 92% CONFORMATION.” The computer stated.
“The Ninjas' Sensei has them, after him!” Revodrol ordered.

Speaking of Garmadon…
He ran as fast as he could, he hopped from building to building.
But it wasn't enough.
He was then surrounded by four hover-crafts, and knew that he was done…

…just as he planned.
As Revodrol saw that what the Master of Destruction had wasn't the Techno Blades.
Revodrol was stunned and enraged.
How?
How did the Ninjas get away with the Techno Blades.
Revodrol had to find an answer.
That's when Revodrol saw someone enter…
…a mysteriously hooded stranger.
“Master, my creator!” Revodrol stated. “How have you been?”
The hooded figure didn't speak, but wrote something.
'My vocal chords are still recovering. But that isn't important. As I believe our plans have taken a wrong turn, Revodrol.'
“I'm afraid so, Master.” Revodrol responded. “How did this happen?”
The hooded figure wrote once more.
'Fortunately, I know how it occurred.'
The hooded figure that rewinded some footage, revealing to that in the midst of his escape, Garmadon gave the Techno Blades to Zane, by slipping them into his open hover-craft.
“That old fool will pay dearly.” Revodrol stated.
The hooded figure wrote once more.
'That he will… but I have a plan…'

Back with the Ninjas…
They managed to get out of New Ninjago City.
“We have to go back to get Uncle!” Morro stated.
“We will, but only when you are safe.” Nya responded.
“Remember Morro, Revodrol wants these weapons, and for some reason, you as well.” Cole reminded.
“It's all part of Sensei's plan. They can't break him.” Jay reassured.
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has yet to come. We need to worry about today.” Zane stated. “We will come back to New Ninjago City. And when we do we'll be ready.”
“But for now, we find some place safe to hide. They'll be looking for us.” Nya explained. “I'll tell Kai and Lloyd about the plan when we find them.”
And with that, everyone drove off into the distance.

Meanwhile back in New Ninjago City…
Pixal was uploading the schematics she scanned from Zane, as Revodrol and it's creator were watching.
She made a few edits by replacing the arms and head. Resulting in the factory to produce soldiers dressed up like ninjas…
“Master, it appears that we have gotten an advantage to stop the Ninjas.” Revodrol stated.
The hooded figure wrote something.
'That we have.'
“All thanks to Pixal.” Revodrol laughed. “Because the Ninjas will have to be prepared to meet their latest match…”
