L was being a little shit.
He said they should play Minecraft as a way to bond or whatever. However the other man couldn’t stop being annoying.
”Hmm seems like something Kira would do?” L said, he was saying this after every single thing Light did. (How punching a tree made him Kira Light was not sure)
“I’m just mining diamonds,” Light said in exasperation.
”Exactly, Kira seems himself as god insinuating he has some sort of power complex and thus would want the strongest armor and weapons in the game,” L said.
”Getting stronger is the main objective of video games,” Light said.
”Not necessarily, in a game like Minecraft it’s more about exploring the world and being creative, doing what you want to rather than one designated path,” L said.
”I mean sure, but there is still the main objective of getting to the end and defeating the ender dragon,” Light replied.
”Yes, however the game doesn’t revolve around it you can easily play without bothering to fight the dragon, for example look what I’m doing,” L said.
Light looked over at L’s screen to see he had been building a house, however it wasn’t a regular house it was shaped like one of those cakes L consumed on the regular. When his in game character walked into the house Light could see that it was filled with pixelated cakes, all that L must have crafted to use as decor.
”What I’m doing isn’t bringing me closer to the end however I’m still enjoying the game, Kira,” L said.
”I understand your point, but you can’t seriously think I’m Kira because of how I play Minecraft,” Light said.
”I don’t,” L said.
”What!” Light said frustrated.
”I do think you’re Kira, but not because of how you play Minecraft,” L said.
”Then why were you calling me Kira this whole time?” Light said his frustration growing louder.
”Well to be honest, Light you look rather cute when you get all frustrated at me for accusing you of being Kira,” L said.
Light let out a gasp.
“Exactly like that, you get all flushed, your eyebrows furrow, and there’s something in your eyes when you’re mad that’s just rather attractive,” L said.
”I-I,” Light began to say before realizing he’d be letting L win by getting more frustrated, that stupid weirdly hot detective.

At some point they ditched the game deciding that making out was a much better way to bond instead.
