Summary
Hermione Granger left the magical world after she finished her final year at Hogwarts. She drives a beat up Camry, she empties the dishwasher each morning and loads it each night, and she never replaced her wand. She goes to Target and orders useless junk on Amazon, just like every other muggle. Just like the life she was meant to have before her fateful Hogwarts letter arrived. She fills her days with the old pages and dust of a rare bookshop and lives in the apartment above it. She’s supposed to want more. Brilliant, ambitious, the brightest witch of her generation and all she can bring herself to do is stack books and place orders. She should want more, but she can’t find the energy to go get it.
Until one day, Draco Malfoy walks in and makes her want more.
