It was a week after the competition, Hailey had been feeling strange, and especially after drew and jake's argument, she can't focus. Whenever she sits in class, she notices how upset Drew looks, sure, he did bully her since middle school. But she can't help but feel bad for him.

Hailey was just hanging out in the club room with her friends, mostly just talking and planning. Milly was being loud on her electric guitar though, Zander had to tell her to shut up. Jake was late as always. He ran into the club room and quickly apologized.
"Sorry for being late, you know how the line in the cafeteria is!" Jake chuckled nervously. "Yeah, we're basically used to it by now" Hailey sighed. "How's it going with Daisy? Have you asked her out yet?" "Oh, yeah I have!" Jake replied, blushing a little. "Really? What'd she say??" Milly asked excitedly. "She said yes! We're going to go to the movies tomorrow!" Jake giggled, blushing more. Hailey interrupted "Alright, alright, just calm down!"

The bell rang
Hailey sighed and looked at everyone else "great, we didn't have any time to rehearse." "Take a chill pill, Hailey, we don't have any competitions to rehearse for anymore!" Zander said. "I guess you're right.." said Hailey, they all decide to get to class. (And they did also have to convince Milly to not skip class)
Drew sat alone in class, he felt really upset and angry lately, sure he did have alot of friends, but he still missed Jake. Jake was the one person he was actually happy to see. And now all of that is over. He never sees Jake anymore. And it's all because of that stupid bitch Hailey...
He noticed his arm stinging "damn it..." he thought to himself. He asked the teacher to go to the bathroom and when he got there he quickly cleaned his wrist, how did it bleed through? Luckily his hoodie was black so you can't see the blood, but if he was wearing a different colour, everyone would know he plays human fruit ninja every night all because he lost his bestfriend, Jake. Dumb reason right? All this for some guy? To him it wasn't just a guy. It was his bestfriend. The one person he could talk to when he was having a bad day. The one person he would go to when upset.

As Drew was going back to class, he bumped into Hailey, mind you, he was about to pull his sleeve back up but he didn't do it properly.
Hailey saw it.
She was confused and then understood, she looked at Drew. "Drew...?"
Drew continued walking, avoiding Hailey. He normally would just say "watch where you're going, freak." But this time, he was too upset to even be an asshole. Yes, he still hated Hailey. And he still did think the club were all freaks. But that doesn't change the fact he's in pain right now, he pulled his sleeve up and went back to class.

After school
Drew was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling horrible. He heard a notification from his phone so he checked it.
1 message from group chat "brothers from another mother"
HENRYYY🥬: anyone wanna play genshin?
Liam😝: YES OFC CALL ME
HENRYYY🥬: drewy beaarrrrr????
drew: not in the mood.
HENRYYY🥬: ur boring but wuteva🙄

"Those dumbasses..." Drew thought to himself, sometimes they could be annoying, but he loved them nonetheless. He sent a "have fun" message and then realized how soft he was being and deleted the message. No one saw it.
Drew sighed and texted his dad

Papá💕: about 1 am, sorry, I'm very busy at work. Just remember to go to bed before 12, you have school tomorrow ❤️

Drew sighed, he wasn't okay, he put in his airpods and searched up "Rosemeadow highschool music competition" on YouTube, he found a video of Jake, Hailey, Luke, Zander, Milly and Sean's performance. He clicked on the video and started watching. He did just realize how good everyone was at their instruments and especially how good Jake was singing and-- HOLY CRAP!! He didn't expect Hailey to sound so good when singing!
He watched intently, very interested in Hailey... Then he realized he was too focused on her. "No! What the hell drew? Knock yourself together, you're supposed to hate that girl!" He thought to himself again. He couldn't control himself, he was in love
with the girl he bullied. How was he gonna fix this issue?
