Until he became deskmates with a certain green-haired kid who seemed to have a cheerful aura all the time. Liam thought he was chaotic, but Liam never knew that he will be someone who could turn his world around.

Somehow, at some point, after Jake and Drew’s fight, they simply realized they couldn’t truly break their friendship so easily, so they agreed to talk and made things up between them. Then at one moment, everything went back to normal.
Except that Jake was hanging out with the music club even more than with him, and Drew just can’t understand.
What’s up with the music club, and why does Jake prefer their company over theirs?
“You know what? I’m done reaching out on Jake for answers. I’m just going to have to find out for myself.” Drew said, determined.
“And how exactly are you gonna do that?” Henry asked.
“I’m going to audition for that goddamn music club.”
“Audition for- WHAT!?”
Maybe as he enters, Drew shows a side of himself that no one ever saw before, and a vow that he made for himself long ago, is something he didn’t end up keeping.

Zander slowly walks to him. “ And maybe that’s the reason you don't admit you’re inlove with Jake.” No. no. no. What the fuck is this freak talking about? How– how did he–
Or. ( No drake up scene au where Dromies still bully the club but continue to support Jake.) After Drew left the clubroom, previously bothering Hailey about her passion, Zander, who is clearly mad, goes after him. Their discussion end up in him outing Drew to the whole school.
Then of course, Zander feels like shit for doing so.

Henry blinked up at the cloud that looked suspiciously like a middle finger. “…Cool?”
“Some girl. Didn’t work out. They didn’t click,” Drew went on, voice smooth, casual, like he was just filling the air. Then, without looking at him, “Not like you and him do.”
Henry froze for a beat too long. The cicadas roared louder in the silence.
