Mob places his bowl on the nightstand. His breakfast had been some plain ass cereal. Cornflakes.
Maybe they hadn’t been tasteless. Mob wasn’t sure. He’d been feeling kinda numb since-
Ugh. Mob itched his head. It always itched.
With a sigh, Mob flopped down onto the bed.
"So bored." Mob groaned. Verity…stupid Verity had stuck him in the house in order to ‘keep him safe.’ Stupid fucking Verity. Mob had attempted multiple escapes before, but Verity had nipped all of that in the bud. The windows in his room were boarded up, all his tools were gone, the door downstairs was blocked from the outside.
It was so dark. Cold.
Mob shivered.

Verity’s fingers tapped against the table—dddrmm drmm ddddrrrmm
Verity had read up about Human sicknesses, and, to be safe, started feeding him plain foods. They had also put them in an unobtrusive room that he was unable to leave. Like the Human institutions that were said to help.
Keyword: Said. Mob had not been getting better. At ALL! Mob was the same, or maybe he had been getting WORSE! What had they gotten wrong? This was said to help Humans! Maybe Mob was different from other Humans…
Mob is different. Despite everything, he stayed, he treats me like I’m real…he loves me. I’m sure of it.
Verity just needs to make him better. Then, they’ll forgive him, and then they’ll live together forever without separating ever again. This was just a bump in the road—a mistake made by Mob. Easily preventable; Mob was just acting silly!
Mob loves them. And they love him just the same.
