Summary
Shane found his gaze drifting further and further to the right until he sat there silently staring at Ilya, taking in every little detail while Ilya watched TV. All his piercings, all his tattoos… Shane just couldn't get enough. Maybe it was the beer talking, but Shane wanted to reach out and feel them on his skin, feel the way the metal rolled under his fingers.
"You are staring again," Ilya said, not even bothering to look away from the television. He took a sip of his beer and waited for Shane to respond, probably expecting another apology.
Instead, Shane quietly asked, "Did those hurt?"
Ilya glanced up from the screen. "What?" He pulled on his ear. "These?"
"Yeah."
"Not really. Why? You want one?"
Shane chewed on the inside of his lip, eyes connecting Ilya's piercings like stars in a constellation. "Maybe."
OR: Shane goes to Warped Tour and ends up getting more than he bargained for when he asks a spiky stranger to give him his first piercing.
