Summary
The Persezelos Cycle, Book One: Persezelos Neos — the new god, the displaced god, and the god who arrives before his own mythology.
Percy remembers a future that has not happened: Olympus standing, Annabeth’s hands, Sally’s kitchen, Grover’s laughter, and every child history will ask to bleed for divine mistakes.
The ancient gods remember none of it.
To them, Percy is a nameless thing dragged from the sea — poisoned, prophetic, and already carrying worship beneath his skin. Poseidon calls him son. Demeter calls him hers. Hades builds him a throne. Athena remembers a woman not yet born.
Then Zeus throws Hephaestus from Olympus.
This time, Percy catches him.
