Summary
There are invaders in the north.
They are more than an uprising and stronger than simple peasants, but John MacTavish will not allow them the land of his clan. Yet ravaged by wounds, death, and under mounting scrutiny for his role in leadership, the gods have not woven him an easy fate.
Ghost is running from the ghosts of his past. Funny, if he had mood to fucking laugh. But there's no time for laughing when the world keeps shrinking and his escape into the barren north turns out to be everything but barren.
