   Summary

   "It happened during weirdmagedon. Bill, well,
   he caught Dipper and I. You remember that part. He was going to kill one of us," Ford nodded along as Mabel told her story. "His eye kept skipping between our symbols: the pinetree and the shooting star. Then it stopped.." tears began to fall down her face. "It stopped on the shooting star, and then I heard Bill snap. It.. I was calmer than I thought I'd be. It's like I was just ready... like somehow I knew it was supposed to happen."

   "Mabel.." Ford began, but Mabel put her hand
   up to stop him.

   "But it didn't end there, it didn't end at all. I
   opened my eyes and the symbols were still blinking. And when they stopped, he didn't snap. Stan yelled out, and he dropped us. We got lucky, we lived. But.. I wasn't supposed to."
