Summary
Connor was built to follow orders. Elise was determined to help androids escape them.
They weren't supposed to become friends. They definitely weren't supposed to fall in love.
But when the android revolution tears Detroit apart, Connor and Elise are forced to decide who they are when the world stops telling them who they're supposed to be.
And when the revolution is over, freedom doesn't magically make everything better.
Androids still have to find jobs, homes, legal recognition, and a place in a society that spent years treating them as machines. Humans have to reckon with the violence and loss left behind. Connor has to figure out what it means to be a person outside of CyberLife's control. Elise has to learn that surviving something doesn't mean she has to pretend it didn't hurt.
Set before, during, and after the events of Detroit: Become Human, this is a story about two people learning how to choose, for themselves, for each other, and for the lives they want to build in the aftermath of a revolution.
