The good news comes over grainy phone video at four in the goddamn morning with the business end of an engagement ring shoved into the camera lens and Ochako’s smiling face soon after.
"She said yes," Izuku says, jostling into the frame and beaming so wide that it almost hurts to look at.
The bad news, of course, comes later.
“Out with it,” Katsuki demands.
“What do you— How do you know there’s an ‘it?’” Izuku stutters, and Katsuki levels the best uncaffeinated glare he can muster at him.
Izuku sighs. There’s a long beat before he says, “Shouto’s probably going to be at the wedding.”
