Summary
1,000 years ago, eight immortals stood against an evil that threatened to destroy everything - and they lost. But that's not what this story is actually about.
This story is about Kim Seungmin, an immortal who passes his time working as a barista and living with his best friend of the last several hundred years... who happens to also be an immortal. Their lives are steady, easy, arguably boring, and that's just fine with Seungmin. Sure, sometimes Jeongin has visions. Yes, they've meddled in human history once or twice to various levels of success. But that's it. Nothing crazy, just two guys trying to live their lives with eternity stretching out far ahead of them.
And then a man walks out of a doorway between worlds, and everything Seungmin has kept steady for hundreds of years suddenly begins to unravel.
