"Would it help…" Matt starts, rounds his palms to Ben's shoulders, rubbing, "…if I told you what to do?"
Ben's eyes open and Matt is smiling so brightly it threatens to blind him. Despite his brooding, his contemplation, Ben finds himself fighting not to smile back. "What, you wanna boss me around on the red carpet?"
"I think TCL has a black carpet," Matt corrects, grinning. "But, yeah. Take a load off, you know? So you don't have to think so much. Always thinking so much," he says, standing on his tiptoes to kiss Ben's temple. "Except when I tell you what to do."
