He sees Isagi quickly, in part because of his car. It’s a startling dirty gold VW Golf Sportsvan, and the man himself leans against the passenger door, eyes scanning the area until he catches Meguru’s gaze.
A wide grin splits his face. “Bachira!”
Meguru laughs, bounding forward and abandoning his case and carry-on to tackle his best friend in a tight hug. “Nice car! So fancy!”
Strong arms squeeze him back. Meguru’s nose naturally finds a space just under Isagi’s ear, and he breathes in greedily. His friend smells like fresh soap and something uniquely Isagi. Musk and sweat and a hint of sweetness.
“Missed you,” he admits into Isagi’s ear.
Isagi shivers slightly with a warm laugh. “Missed you, too.”
