Eve likes to think she's pretty prepared for what life throws at her, and how could she not? She's trained with NATO and is on the precipice of embarking on a career of adventure and constant surprise: working with the counter-terrorism department. She's been shot at, abseiled, performed chokeholds, and even been IN a chokehold (one occasion she's certainly not keen to repeat).
A man showing up on her doorstep should be the least interesting thing she's seen all week, except that he isn't at all.
