Summary
The handle of the dagger, inlaid with mother of pearl, shines iridescent as it flies through the air.
The blade clips the outer edge of Steve-O’s thigh and falls to the ground, red webs streaking the silver edge.
Silence and inaction sits a heavy fog over the set. Steve-O looks down and over his body, leaning out as far as he can from where he’s still restrained against the wall. He catches sight of blood dripping down the pale skin of his leg. Almost in slow motion, the drops follow the curvature of his kneecap, darkening his leg hair and landing in splatters on the stark white floor.
“Get me down,” he says flatly.
