Summary
Harry Potter has spent years being told that Dumbledore knows best.
Draco Malfoy has spent just as long being told that his future belongs to Voldemort.
By fifth year, both of them are beginning to understand the truth: neither side of the war sees them as children. They are weapons, heirs, sacrifices, and pieces to be moved.
As Harry and Hermione begin uncovering the extent of Dumbledore’s manipulation, Draco, Mattheo, Theo, Blaise, and Pansy realize that refusing the Dark Mark may be just as dangerous as accepting it. Forced into an uneasy alliance, they decide to build something neither side planned for—a third path, one based on choice rather than obedience.
