Summary
Two had a girlfriend once. It's not an uncommon story for gay men to date women until they discover that hidden truth inside themselves, or learn to accept it. It's natural, they tell him; the growing pains of queer youth in a world that still treats them as Other, a standard deviation away from the norm. They say it's all part of the journey. They understand, they tell him.
Two doesn't think they do.
(Five years ago, Two parted ways with the love of his life to pursue an education in music on opposite sides of the country. Today he's being introduced to a musician in search of a drummer and finds himself hopelessly reminded by the man of the only woman he's ever loved.)
