   Summary

A Dornish Princess topples the House of the Dragon,

   or…

Meria Martell, Princess of Dorne and Heir to Sunspear is sent to King's Landing as a political envoy. For King Viserys, Meria serves to halt his brother's illegal war in the Stepstones. For Queen Alicent, Meria symbolizes hope.

The Princess accepts her place at court and finds herself pulled into the brewing Targaryen civil war. Trapped inside Viserys's gilded cage she starts to realize that the House of the Dragon is cracking apart.

Meria knows that the only thing keeping her out of Daemon's hands is the ailing King and his Treaty.

When the King dies, she will have to choose the only option available to her to keep her life. She allies with Queen Alicent and the Greens. Having to navigate both court politics and her feelings for Prince Aemond Targaryen will place her right in the middle of the war.
