It was a rainy Thursday, well maybe not just rainy as the winds outside are very strong to the point where it could probably take your umbrella, or you yourself, if you accidentally let go of it.
Thankfully, classes were suspended. That may sound like the best news a student could ever hear especially if they just woke up or just about to get ready. Yeah, it really was the best news for every student, well except for Caelus.
Why?
Because he was already at school. He arrives an hour earlier before the teacher decided to fucking announce that classes were cancelled. Oh well, at least he could go home now and play video games.. am i right?
No, I'm not right.
He fucking forgot his umbrella at home.
So now here he was. Under the waiting shed praying to all the aeons that were listening to stop the rain so that he could go home.
Well, I guess they didn't listen or they just hated him because instead of the rain stopping or calming, it became more “violent”. Water pouring down heavily, winds becoming 1.5x or even 2x stronger, and worst of all, thunder.
“Does my life really suck this much to the point where I can't even go home because of this stupid rain!?” He whined, annoyed at the fact that he can't go home yet and the fact that his family doesn't even care or know that he's still in school praying and begging aeons to stop or to calm the rain.
After what felt like an hour (which really was just 15 minutes), he decided to stop whining and start thinking of what to do.
Should he try walking home? Yeah no, that's stupid as fuck, does he have a death wish?
Should he wait for it to stop? Probably not since it'll take hours and he's impatient as hell.
Should he wait for someone to rescue him? Sure, but that's stupid. Who in their right mind would go out while it's raining heavily—
“Hey, you okay?” A mysterious voice asked the whining man who looked like a drenched puppy because of how long he was standing out in the rain.
“Wha– Dan Heng?” Oh right, I forgot about him.
Dan Heng.
The one who's always to the rescue whenever Caelus is having problems or just whining for something.
Huh.
“I said, are you okay? You're drenched in water, you know you'll get sick, right? You do realize that you get easily sick–” before the said man could even finish what he was saying, Caelus cut him off with “Yeah yeah, whatever!! Just– please help me go home..”
The taller looked at the man who was staring at him with doe eyes, probably chanting something in his mind something like ‘pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasehelpmedanhenggggggggggggg’.
“Fine. But I did not bring my car..” He explained.
“I don't care if you brought your car or not! Just help me get homeeeeeeee” The other whined, again, while clinging onto Dan Heng’s arm like a koala.
“Would you mind if we share an umbrella?”
“No.. I wouldn't, infact i would love to!!”
“.. just please help me..” he whispered
The other just chuckled and helped the shorter one with his stuff as he brought so many random and useless stuff to school.
‘Huh, maybe rain isn't that bad’ Caelus thought as he walked by Dan Heng’s side, clinging onto him so that he wouldn't get ‘wet’.
They both walked under the shared umbrella until they reached Caelus’ house, and when they did, Dan Heng earned himself a small peck on the cheeks as the other quickly closed the door after the mentioned action.
